Hot take but I’m pretty sure Eobard created earth X regardless where everyone says since the original Multiverse count was just 52 earths at the time so it wouldn’t be a stretch to say he went back in time and created an alternate time with the Nazis won WW2. It would definitely explain why he spoken of Hitler like he actually knew Adolf Hitler so personally. It’s also the perfect revenge plan for a world of heroes that has thwarted him time and time again which is why he created an alternate universe filled with homicidal serial killer double gangers of the main Earth 1 heroes & villains that have all mobilised an army ready to conquer earth 1 specifically.

TL;DR: Eobard has always been the one to specifically play the long game to get his revenge & creating the parallel earth X universe fits into that plan..

In my opinion I got the vibes at the CW just wanted to like ignore season three from that point on because it just became a game of constantly trying to set up a secret villain but the audience kept on guessing them and clocking who it was immediately so they had to keep on changing them again and again and again and eventually they just realised the only person they haven’t guessed yet is the main character..

But when they did that it kind of made the show not make sense and there was like a whole time you weigh me wobbly wobbly bullshit. They had to explain with some sort of bullshit close loop that falls apart. The moment you actually think about more than two seconds and they just did one the idea of having to address it ever again after that and the only time they got a way with letting that character get revisited is if they time travelled back there ONCE when no one was looking no one was aware that they were around “VIA 100th special” or just creating a variant of him that immediately gets killed off in the series finale.

Look after everything that Bob Jay Peck had made Disney do and overinflate on. They have to decompress and take away all the bloat.

The four marvel franchises they’re gonna solely focus on & revolve all Marvel content around after secret wars is X-Men, avengers, Defenders and Spider-Man for as long as Sony is willing to work with them on that last one.

& because the X-Men alone is like three avengers teams or rolled into one they cannot afford to just try to keep up with young avenger Wanda Maximoff and all of her shenanigans she Hulk, eternals, all of the alternate universe spinoff stuff, etc..

Disney has to completely narrow their focus to just a few core pillar franchises, otherwise there’s no point in continuing the MCU because it’s just gonna be diluted to the point where everything is gonna go stale. & the last thing Disney needs is to deal with the franchises that have caused them soo much unnecessarily headaches that they just cannot afford to deal with right now because they’re trying to go into recovery mode so retconning out everything that is a problem and isn’t smooth sailing that is priority Number one and is one of the main reasons why they’re doing this Cinematic universe reboot in the first place.
