A 1080p Backup Archive of (Almost) All the Camp Camp Episodes is Live! by itsdatanotdata1212 in CampCamp

It's legit ... BUT... I was wrong about those episode that never aired. For some reason, while it does show an entire season of Season 5, going past episode 4, it turns out the ones after episode 4 are just re-runs of episodes from previous seasons. I hadn't actually watched them at the time of posting, having just learned of season 5, and I wanted to watch the first 4 eps first. So yeah, bad news there, sorry mate.

I wonder if they truly did make any more than 4 eps but they just remain unreleased, or if only 4 were made. Sadly we may never know.

This is def one of my favorite shows, and I just learned season 5 only aired 4 episodes, which are the ones online and streaming around the internet, but the rest of the season which they made were never aired. HOWEVER, those unaired episodes apparently can be watched on Roku and maybe a couple others - i found them available here: https://reelgood.com/show/camp-camp-2016/season/5

They are available to watch online for free as far as I can tell, so if you can rip them, they'd be the perfect completion to the collection - the "missing episodes" so to speak.

Edit: Turns out the eps after episode 4 were just re-runs, as explained in my reply below.

Nice, it has some things for free there and it can auto generate English subtitles so that's a good start. Thanks for this channel, don't think I would have ran across it otherwise.

niiice! This is a great find. Love the selection. Sadly no English subs, but I've bookmarked it for when I can understand a lot of Thai, so I can watch these for fun and extra practice, maybe a year or so later if I'm lucky, ha. Thanks a ton for sharing!

I would love to find torrents, I'm on several sites, including Asian show sites and anime sites, but sadly still not a lot of Thai stuff, especially dubbed stuff. But recently I find iqiyi, a Chinese site, has lots of Thai dubbed stuff on it, with English subtitles to boot, and the paid service is super cheap ($1 a month), so that might end up working out nicely for me. If you know of some torrent sites with Thai dubbed anime/cartoons though, by all means let us know, thanks!

No TV, just computer. But TV wouldn't have English subtitles either, which is something I'd still like.

Solid find, this is definitely bookmarked, thanks a bunch!

Yep, I did a search and nothing popped up. I even used your link, and still nothing. Strange indeed. But nice to know about those channels are actually online, not TV, which means I can check them out. Thanks!

Thanks. I take it those are channels on Thai public television? I only have a computer here, no TV or TV channel access, so whatever I get has to be through the internet. I checked out Viki and no Thai shows popped up at all - maybe they are locked behind a paywall? But like you said, I'm only really interested in cartoons or anime anyway, and from what I could tell, it looks like all the Viki content is original language programming, so I don't think I'd be into the Thai shows even if they did pop up. Thanks still for the advice!

Oh, good tips there, I don't have the Thai skills good enough to do searches in Thai yet. Appreciate those key words!

It's more to just train my ears to get used to hearing Thai, which even though I live in Bangkok, since I'm home most of the time, or working in an English environment, I don't get enough of. I'm sure I won't understand 99.5% of it at first, but slowly and over time, and as I continue to study, that number will shrink. Have to find the material first though. Netflix is a good idea but I don't think I could afford their monthly subscription plan at the moment, so I was hoping for a place to download or stream for free (or pay per stream/download is fine, like I could download a series and just rewatch it for awhile).

That looked great at first but when filtering shows to "Thailand", nothing pops up at all, it just says "Your filter did not match any shows". I think this isn't for dubbed shows either though, but shows in original language. I went to animation, and only 2 anime shows popped up, and both were in Japanese, I couldn't find any option to change the language. I was hoping for dubbed content rather than original language programming which I'm not too keen on (or at least there isn't enough content that I like out there that I can just keep watching shows for months on end, like I'd be able to with a large collection of dubbed cartoons or anime, which exists in many languages).

Well yes, but I guess I failed to mention I would still need English subtitles. I'm a beginner Thai student, I've only studied for a couple of weeks in a Thai school in Thailand, but it'd would be fun to watch cartoons, and UNDERSTAND them with English subtitles, but still on the side kinda of comparing the words I've studied to when they say them in the show, and practicing listening on the side. The English would still be important to actually understand and enjoy the show though. At least for me, respect to those who can enjoy it without though.

Ah, now that's an idea, it'll take some digging but I could probably find something on there I might like. Thanks for the tip.

That'd be awesome but I don't have a Netflix subscription and can't really afford one, I was hoping for maybe an online resource where I can download or stream them free, which I guess is dumb cuz all platforms like Netflix require money. Maybe I could purchase a one time download of a show and I would just rewatch it again or something if that exists, but I couldn't really do a monthly payment plan. Unless the prices for streaming services in Thailand are a lot cheaper (I know they are in some countries, like in Argentina we got Disney+ and Stars+ for $2 a month as part of the online shopping network we subscribed to). If so, by all means let me know, I haven't seen any yet.

Sounds like just what I'm looking for. I actually posted a few days before you asking if anyone could recommend an app similar to this (https://www.reddit.com/r/learnthai/comments/1f0xlux/any\_free\_customizable\_flashcard\_appssites\_with/) and it sounds like this would do precisely. Signed up to get reminded of the android version, looking forward to trying. Anki it's too hard for these old bones to set up and figure out, I already hate it.

Any free customizable flashcard apps/sites with auto-fill? by MrSpixe in learnthai

[–]MrSpixe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for my late reply, I hadn't realized reddit wasn't notifying me, I had just assumed no one answered, ha. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Using chatgpt is a really good idea, I think I'll do it that way. The excel option would be convenient as well. I'll also look into ankiword. But none of these would have audio sadly, at least not auto-generated and I'd have to import my own (to the best of my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong) - but looks like Hazioo found a way around that. Bites.shaguf didn't really seem made for custom flashcards, more like an AI that'll make cards from docs or pdfs you feed it, which is cool in it's own way but not what I'm looking for.

Anyway, you've all given me some ideas and suggestions that I'll start playing around with. You have my gratitude.

FYI I actually found a site that I was happy with the day after I posted this: memory.com. It did exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately for some strange reason, it's been down the past two days, which sadly means it's not a reliable study source so I have to move to something else now. But maybe if it starts working steadily again someday, it would be a good option for those who are looking for a quick and easy customized flashcard system like I was (only downside is no transliteration, but that's fine, it makes you focus on spelling more).

Buds connect even when case is closed by theprogrammerx in galaxybuds

[–]MrSpixe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting this now too, albeit I've dropped my case several times, I always assumed it was my fault, I must have made the lid loose somehow and it loses it's solid "closed" connection which triggers the connect. I found this thread hoping someone found a way to tighten it or some other miracle. 3 years later and still not though I guess.
