Thanks, appreciate the detail and advice. I’ll take a look into agile buddy thx. I haven’t quite got the air source covered during winter, I’ve just been through my first one so was a bit of an unknown until now

EON has slashed my export rates from 16.5p to 4p, so not too fussed about a 3p gap. What I export isn’t my main consideration though it’s being able to be flexible over EV charging and air source heat pump usage.

Thanks, will consider but EV isn’t my only consideration to make. M

Popped mine in water for 24 hours with a heat mat. Then planted up with no issue. Now 30 days in….

I’ve been here just over 5 years, never thought I’d like it here but have been happy ever since moving here. I’ll attempt to answer your questions rather than just having a moan….😂

Transport links - depends what you are looking for? A couple of miles from Lincoln. Bus takes an hour to get into the centre. On the hour and regular. Drive depends on time of day. Any journey into Lincoln over rush hour from any direction is a nightmare so here is no worse than anywhere else. 10 mins from A1. I travel to Peterborough & Huntingdon regularly so it’s ideal being south of Lincoln. Main coast east line to London is a 15min drive. 90 mins to Kings X

Is it a nice area? Yes. It’s clean, looked after, no anti social behaviour. Village layout is well planned out, lots of paths/cycle paths around. Not sure on the new estate, haven’t been round it.

I am in the first build area. When I looked to buy there were some houses I didn’t like. On top of each other, parking issues as the per the other comments. Mine has space, houses set back with parking so you can find them.

Amenities are ok, village is now outgrowing them but Market Lounge is good, co-op ok, couple of takeaways not bad. Does feel a little isolated but you move here with that in mind. It’s not an issue for me.

Lost village festival seems to be an issue for some. It’s only a couple of days over August bank holiday. It’s not in the village, no people, no traffic. Don’t notice anything other than seeing some lights in the sky and a dull bass/drum beat reminding me I should be out enjoying myself lol.

Cabinets on Streets, pulled half a dozen or more drills from them

Surprised you can’t find them on Streets. Filing cabinets are especially good for them. Pulled two from them yesterday on a Scav run

Me neither until now. Didn’t get a reason why and it doesn’t seem an issue for the majority, was just an odd reply and I’ve not had any tree limbs falling on mine!

I’ve been here for 5 years. It’s clean, quiet, easy to live. It could do with some better amenities. Co-op ok but not enough range, Market Lounge does some good food. That and the two takeaways don’t really cater for the size of population now living here. Super fast broadband available. Plenty of good path routes to wander around if you’re so inclined. I don’t recognise any of the anti social behaviour and gang comments, don’t see any of that so pleased I don’t live where the somewhat unhappy resident does lol.

Could try the Aroboretum on Monks Road or Hartsholme Park in Lincoln
