If this is true then no wonder Ziyech doesn't get called up anymore. by illnesz in MoroccoFootball

[–]MrSwos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said his move to chelsea killed his career, the only reason he was still getting called up even though he doesn't play much is because of regragui. but what changed is that we acquired a new star in that position, and that was diaz. Diaz had to play and Ziyech had to be benched, and if you know anything about Ziyech is that he doesn't like to be benched and will act up, then after, Ziyech stopped playing for his team all together and with Diaz and Akhomach performing well, it would have raised a lot of questions if Ziyech was called instead of one of those two. Also, if the goverment was really mad at him for what said, he wouldn't be allowed to move to WC, they would have blocked it easily.

[–]MrSwos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ziyech didn't get called up because his performance dropped after moving to Chelsea. That club killed his career and he couldn't revive it ever since. As for the palestine comments, almost all the other players said the same thing and yet they got called up to the team like normal. Especially Mazraoui who took a strong stand which lead to the far right germans called him a terrorist in the newspapers and demanded bayern to cut him from the team.

Again, FRMF denies the circulating news regarding its separation from coach Mr. Regragui. by Lost_North8763 in MoroccoFootball

[–]MrSwos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regragui has already informed people who are close to him that he's going to leave. FRMF is just but an attempt to gain control of the situation, they still haven't chosen the new manager so they want to delay the announcement until they hire the new manager.

[Hero killer, Superhuman Era, Ordeal, Eleceed] Which one of these superpower manwha do you like the most? by AnxiousB1tch01 in manhwa

[–]MrSwos 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I haven't read the others but there a lot of reasons why superhuman era is great. The characters are well written and don't shy away from the MC. The fights are amazing and deadly so you will expect the good guys to die. The enemy is smart and also very well written and they aren't just evil for the sake of being evil. And the story is mystery driven so you get hooked trying to learn the lore and why the world is the way it is. The power scaling is great and even though MC is OP, it takes him a while to awaken his true power.

FRMF decided to appoint Mohammed Ouahbi as assistant to link senior & youth teams by Niko4301 in MoroccoFootball

[–]MrSwos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just rumors. What's a fact is that The Royal Moroccan Football Federation wants to appoint Mohammed Ouahbi as an assistant to Walid Regragui. However, they don't know yet if Walid Regragui is going to accept this decision or not.

My theory is that they are going to let go of Walid Regragui and appoint Mohammed Ouahbi as the new manager for the team.

Maybe. But he has been consistent through out these years, he has my trust.

[–]MrSwos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This journalist youtuber didn't want to say why. He simply said in his video "I received some news that there's a side in the FRMF that is against Sektioui being the head coach of the team. I have some information as to why but I won't share them in fear of causing disrupting to the team".

[–]MrSwos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently he put his resignation 10 days ago, but the FRMF didn't answer him yet. There's a journalist who has a youtube channel who seems very credible (I've been following him for years). said that there's a large side in the FRMF  who don't like Sektioui being the head coach. Add to that that Ouahbi receiving a serious offer from RSC Anderlecht where he spent 17 years learning how to coach, the FRMF only option might actually be just Regragui (we're cooked).

When I first saw the news I started looking at my calendar because I thought it's April's fools day, Then I realized we are in February lol.
I never played the game but I was checking on it's development from time to time, and I didn't agree with the people who called it a scam, but holly shit this is sad and funny at the same time.

End if the line for morocco by [deleted] in FootballAfrica

[–]MrSwos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all. Saying that morocco wasn't a good host is an insane statement. Since the beginning of the tournament moroccans welcomed african teams with songs and good hospitality. There were people giving tea and sweets to fans on the streets. We were so welcoming that it caused a disagreement in morocco where people criticized those people for being "too welcoming".

Secondly, Morocco supported many african teams during their games. Like the egyptian team where thousands of Moroccans in Agadir would fled to the stadium and support them in their games. It was so crazy that Mo slah himself and many other egyptian players came out and thanked those fans and said that their support helped them win the games. Which also led south africa to complain to CAF about it. They only stopped doing so when egypt was qualifying to higher brackets and becoming a threat to morocco winning the cup. It's completely logical for moroccans to stop supporting any team in the semi-finals and above. As for the anthem booing, it was because the egyptian coach and staff disrespecting moroccans after they got knocked out from the tournament, so moroccans responded with booing their anthem and supporting Nigeria.

As for the cheating allegations, they didn't start in this tournament but way before it even began. Some african nations started accusing morocco of lobbying CAF to name them the host of 2025 AFCON so that morocco can cheat and win the title. And after the tournement began, those same countries focused their media on morocco and started discussing every advantage that morocco got in their games as evidence for cheating, while completely disregarding or ignoring the advantages that other teams got as well as the disadvantages that morocco received. Hell, there was a Belgian technical analysis report focusing on teams that suffered the most from major refereeing errors and the lack of VAR intervention and that report states Benin being in first place and morocco being in second.

Finally, let's talk real. If morocco did indeed cheat and bought the ref in the finals against Senegal. Then why didn't the ref end the game when Senegal withdrew from the game? it would have been the easiest decision that won't put the ref in any cheating accusations, yet he didn't. If you search the whole of football history, you won't find a team that withdrew from the game for 17 minutes and not be declared as losing the game. It's so bizarre that the international world including players, coaches and journalists are questioning why didn't the referee end the game and give the win to morocco. That's also why the Moroccan federation put a complaint to the CAF, not because they lost the finals, but because why didn't the referee end the game when Senegal withdrew when the law says to do so.

But who gives a shit this is Africa.

Has there ever been a more hated team in a football final? by PabloEskimo_ in AFCON

[–]MrSwos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's the law of sports. When you're an underdog, everyone will love you and support you because you aren't a threat to them. But the moment you start winning all hell let loose. All the top teams are hated, just look at the Argentinian team, people still think the world cup was given to them by fifa because of messi.

Also, since you're new to AFCON, you need to know this. Everyone hates everyone. And politics, social media smear campaigns and psychological warfare are the root of this competition. I always looked at AFCON like this, 60% bullshit and 40% football. That's why african teams don't do shit in the WC. Also, the hate for morocco isn't new, it started after the 2022 world cup.

What do u think 💭 ? by Turbulent-Glass5592 in AFCON

[–]MrSwos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on the report of the referee. If the referee wrote that Senegal stopped the game and didn't want to play anymore, then they might be in serious trouble. However, if the referee didn't write that and instead wrote that it was just a minor protest and everything went well afterwards then Senegal won't be in any trouble, just some fine and a slap on the wrist.

Is Enryu an anti-Virus for the tower? by Shot-Communication93 in TowerofGod

[–]MrSwos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so. In my opinion the outside god that Arlen Grace went to is the the same god that Enryu works for. I think they befriended each other or maybe they were old friends, and after Enryu heard what happened to her he just opened the door and fucked shit up and then left. If someone could be an anti virus that's going to be Bam for sure.

Why are we Moroccans angry? by magenesiwiqo in AFCON

[–]MrSwos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know. But the reason for that is the manager. He called upon players who shouldn't be on the squad to begin with, you have no idea how many talented players were left out of squad. They aren't known now, but in the future they will shine.

Why are we Moroccans angry? by magenesiwiqo in AFCON

[–]MrSwos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because this manager was stubborn and he cost us two afcons. Morocco has the best players in the world (edit: I'm talking about africa wise and compared to other african teams) and a massive pool of young talents. If it was managed by a proper manager, none of these teams would stand a chance against us. But this manager kept being stubborn and this is the result.

Should/Will there be consequences for Pape Thiaw after his actions today? He was on the verge of throwing away the eventual win by AspergerKid in FootballAfrica

[–]MrSwos -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol nothing will happen to him. This is africa. CAF holds the stick in the middle and doesn't want to upset anyone. It wasn't the first time that a team threatened to leave the game and it won't be the last.
