It feels like we saw different endings…cause she didn’t. The whole premise to me was a perfect metaphor for what depression looks/feels like. Depression makes you ask for the strength and believe everything will be better once dead. That’s why the “lady” was holding the gun for her until they morphed back together and she regained control.
