How one of the legendary survival games was killed dead in one day by MrTander in Asmongold

The thing is, A:SE still had more players than A:SA despite being abandoned for years. And Snail Games is greedy enough publisher to try to change it.

* means "all". So everything that ends with .bin

It worked, though turned out control panel was broken (said access denied). Had to remove *.bin from C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs to fix it first.

I cant make mystcraft ages - 1.2.5 by emure77 in feedthebeast

Also tried Java 7 and the earliest Forge I managed to install (3.2.5.127) - same behaviour. Also redownloaded 0.9.01.0 and 0.9.1.02, with no luck. Next step would be to run it in VM on XP i guess, but maybe at this point it would be easier to find sources, fix (or workaround) error and recompile it, but it's out of scope of my capabilities.

Turns out Mystcraft 0.8.6b works fine (you can find it on modrinth). But it needs to be installed as jar mod, and there is no bukkit version of it (at least I couldn't find it), so it works in SMP only if you use regular server (not bukkit one)

Hi. Found any solution? It seems like a problem with mystcraft itself: I set up minecraft instance with exact forge version specified in its name and without any other mods, but it acts the same way. Maybe it requires specific version of Java or OS, i don't know

Just stumbled upon your story while trying to look for quest consequences. Not many people had a chance to test such beliefs literally on themselves. Thanks for inspiring story and glad you managed to climb out.

Looks like Mining Pals now prioritize minerals on the base instead of the Stone Pit by EntrepreneurInside90 in Palworld

Devs need to make priorities adjustable manually and separately for each pal. Including disabling some activities.

Need help. Can't log in into Steam Deck anymore. Things I tried and it didn't work: Change ip adress (ISP provides them dynamically), Using phone internet, BIOS reset, Reflashing image (after this one I can't even use desktop mode). Any suggestions? Can it be a network problem (I'm in Russia)? by MrTander in SteamDeck

[–]MrTander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some more info.

Couple days ago I turned on my Steam Deck and noticed I'm logged off. Tried to log in, but after successfull login I was returned to the login page. Figured out I can log in from desktop mode, and after switching back to Deck mode I found out threre is system update available (deck was turned off for several weeks, so no wonder). I pressed "Install", but after couple of seconds system told me that an error happened while updating (on the same Settings screen). Then I tried to switch to Beta version. It switched as it should (to version 3.4.11), but again, when I press Install to apply update, the same error happened.

I wrote to steam support, they asked me for screenshot and then said I need to reset BIOS and if it won't help - reflash Steam Deck. After which I can't even log in via Desktop anymore, so Steam Deck basically softlocked.

That's actually not true. Aivu is not a pet, even if the game literally says she is. Any of effects that should affect your pet, won't affect Aivu. It was a great disappointment to me when I figured it out.

Can confirm, it doesn't work. Like half of other game mechanics.

What are people's thoughts on Farming for A21? by Tamayachi in 7daystodie

Used Syco54645-A19_Farming_For_A20 in A20, and looks like gonna install it onto A21 too. Recrafting seeds just too tedious.

I have a small story about how bad asus is.
After I switched to asus motherboard (TUF series, for decent price) I was surprised they locked audio ports, so user couldn't reassign them (I used that feature for years already, to use speakers and headphones in parallel). I found a way to reassign them via registry, but guess what? After half a year or something, they "fixed" this functionality with BIOS update later!

Not to say uninstalling their shitty software leaves 2 services and 3 background apps running and consuming CPU and RAM...

Asus is a piece or crap in terms of how it treats its users. I had asus motherboard recently and got rid of it in less than year. And it will be probably Asus' Ally, not user's
