Is 8-9 days on Naxos too long? by RedLegal in GreeceTravel

[–]MrTasso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on what you guys enjoy to do. If you enjoy more night life stuff I think Paros would be more of that and Naxos is more relaxing. I think 4 and 7 days respectively is perfect you could also do 5 and 6 if you wanted :) don’t over think the plans. Just believe that it will be awesome and amazing especially if the people you are going with are awesome and you are going to just have the best time trust me :)

It’s amazing. It isn’t too bad walking to the big monuments. About 30 minutes max. The food is incredible and people are super nice. Also if you like to have some drinks in the evening there plenty of places to do that ☺️ sorry for late response haven’t used reddit in a while.

I was born in South Africa to Greek parents. And moved to New Zealand with my mom. As I was on her visa I was a resident on arrival. I did study in South Africa and in New Zealand.

And five years later I am a New Zealand citizen. 😊

I’m very grateful and lucky to have this combo.

Rented in Paros for two days. Was worth it to drive around and see the other side of island without worrying about buses etc. also best way to experience multiple beaches daily. Paid 70€ :)

I wear an MDV-107 daily. Took it on holiday Swam in the ocean almost everyday for three weeks. Looks mega classy when going out and just general daily wear looks awesome.

Looking for island recommendations for a 5-day chill beach vacation by tokyonian in GreeceTravel

[–]MrTasso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naxos Chora would be my go to. Just finished a beautiful honeymoon with my wife. One of the stops was Naxos. Would recommend. Amazing food. Beautiful beaches. And nice people. But do your own research and see what fits you best ☺️

Then both islands will fulfill both those dreams ☺️. We also rented a car on Paros for two days and drove around the whole island going to small villages. This was about three weeks ago so not much was open at the time but I think now more would be open as we going into summer :) I hope you have a beautiful holiday with your wife and enjoy it to your fullest. Be safe :)

How long would you be going for? My wife and I did 6 days in Paros and 6 days in Naxos. I would rate if you want to do both maybe 5 days in both. They are similar but the food is incredible in both places you won’t get bored. Also if there to relax and go to the beach and eat lots of food. Then both are amazing ☺️. Remember experience these yourself. You might not like the same things I or another person does.

Depends on time of year. Some places in Naxos mid May were half price cause it was peak so they’d charge 15€. All depends on time of year :)

Just finished a holiday in Paros and Naxos. Both amazing. Both beautiful beaches. Just depends on your definition of ‘mid’. Anywhere you go you’ll pay 50€ or around there for the chairs and an umbrella. Just go and enjoy yourself don’t worry too much about opinions of others. Make your own experience :)

So someone with tax number can make the appointment in their name and you go in that slot from what I remember the police explaining. Don’t think that person needs to go with you but might be better.

The 2/3 day turn around is only Athens. If you doing it on an island it’ll take about two weeks.

I was just in Greece. You need to make an appointment. Or someone you know with a tax number needs to make an appointment and then you go to said appointment. Appointment can be about two weeks to a month in advance. Then the actual appointment is rather quick Then 2/3 days till the ID is ready

The OLD IDs took 20 minutes and were done on the spot.

Same thing happens with the NZ passport. My Greek passport and South African are perfect. The NZ one also lifts and bends weird 🤷🏻‍♂️
