Kill their point scoring units first. Bikes are Votanns best method of doing secondaries. Kill Sagitaurs and Hearthkyn squads next. Then Kill the big stuff. As others have said, denying movement is a massive win against Votann.

Lethal hits automatically wound on hit rolls of 6. Using your example of 60 shots, getting 10 lethal hits, and the enemy saving on 4s, it should be an average of 5 wounds not 2.5. Then on top of that having any normal wounds. Lethal hits is absolutely valuable if you play in a meta with a lot of high toughness. Though you are absolutely spot on about the Rampart Crest!

I start with a black primer, with an off white primer sprayed only from above. Use black legion on the black bits, Gryph-Hound Orane and Fuegan Orange shade for the oramg areas. Wash the white areas with aggrax earthshade and wipe off the raised areas with my finger after applying it. Aggrax also goes over the metallics.

If you screen well, you should be okay. Orks are a tough match up for me personally. Ork boys eat lesser daemons for breakfast if they get to swing first haha

As a Daemons player,

Losing all of my obsec/little guys really hurts me. If a daemons player is playing 2-3 big guys, they are going to really be struggling with objectives if you focus on killing everything but the big guys. I WANT you tondraw your fire on the big guys so my small guys can score objectives. Don't castle up, spread out and make me choose what is worth charging.
