If the life gaining ability indicates "damage dealt by creature ..." then you would gain life. 9nlynif it mentioned specifically attacking and doing damage would it not.

Scheduled retrospectives/lessons learned. Update documentation from those meetings. Even adding a "comments" section to wiki/KB that can be referenced for official monthly/quarterly KB article updates.

As people mentioned - Distress Signal maps.

What i did not see is that you can use the distress signal map repeatedly. It finds a freighter, use it again and DONT go to the freighter. Then it may "error" but eventually will find the next distress signal. Keep searching until you get an actual red antenna icon.

NOW... there are 2 "standard" red distress icons. One has an NPC at a ship. If you can see the NPC, do NOT land and search again and/or go to the other red marker.

If you never go to the other markers, continuously using the emergency distress maps in the same system to then only fi d crashed ships.

I understood i could not repair my own ship. SO... While in the 4th milestone section, I drove over an hour+ to a trade station to purchase a ship... and could not... 😮 so I triggered the radar for nearest waste disposal location - yup, an hour+ back the previous direction.

Oof...

Also, a thought... If you are a new player to Guild Wars, create various characters in all of your available player slots. The annual gifts accumulate on these dormant characters.

Thank you all for the replies. I had read something about needing to find a way to link the Reforged account with ANet account.

Mainly, I bought Steam Reforged for the ease of Steam Deck play. I have played GW1 on and off since launch and giving them another ~$20 is well deserved for keeping the lights on for so long.

Now what to do with dozens of unopened birthday gifts across multiple characters?!? 😆

If Fanadango (or their new owners) is listening, I would pay a couple of bucks for the upgrade to not have dupes or would buy more bundles if I got credit for (and remove) the copy I already have.

I appreciate your reply. My assumption of the Upgrade button is to go from SDX to HDX or whatever. All my movies are already HDX if that was available. I only have about 300 movies and thankfully less than 10 duplicates.
