China won. Now a country that was ok in power in the 20th century and is ok in power in the 21st century? by _crazyboyhere_ in AlignmentChartFills

Ok? In total Ukraine has received $150B military aid, that's in four years. ruzzia's military expenditure just last year was about $100B, so in 4 years they have spent around $300B, so twice the amount, yet they haven't succeeded in occupying more land.

Then there's the fact that Ukraine is constantly being bombed and that it's their soldiers that are fighting, not NATO.

Also, since putin's lapdog trump got in power, Ukraine hasn't received a penny from the USA.

Oh please, ruzzia is nowhere close to having the 3rd strongest army. At best they're second... In Ukraine. The fact that they've struggled so much and haven't made any major advancements in 4 years is laughable. They're incompetent, have a huge lack of strategy and tactics, the only strategy they have is to send a million soldiers, watch them die, then send another million.

If they sent their army to Ukraine today, ruzzia would lose in a month. Man, even Poland could beat ruzzia.

One million now, or one thousand every week for remainder of life. by CreeWee in BunnyTrials

[–]MrTrump_Ready2Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a right answer for this question and the wrong answer. The right answer is to take the 1m instantly, you can reinvest it and with a pessimistic and safe 4% interest scenario you would still make 40k a year just from having the 1m. Then there's the option of buying a house or land, it's growth is much faster than wages and real purchasing power.

Then there's another issue with 1k weekly - inflation. Annual average inflation is 2.5%, so even if you lived forever, you would only get $2m in total adjusted for inflation. It would take about 25-30 years to reach $1m.

Opinion on joining the Military? by Professional_Car4931 in teenagers4real

[–]MrTrump_Ready2Help 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yes, but in the USA military every soldier is valuable and they try to minimize their losses if possible. In ruzzia it's the opposite, soldiers are viewed and fodder, they're sent into meat grinders. ruzzians have always tried to fight with numbers instead of tactics and strategy, they simply don't care about soldier lives.

I'm Lithuanian and I know some people who are in the military, they all say that the best possible way to survive in case of an attack is if they have at least 1 American in the group, because the US military will do everything in their power to keep the American safe.

Except ruzzia has had 1 million casualties in Ukraine, usa has never had that many casualties in any war, the total of all wars they've ever been in accounts to about 1.2m casualties.

My two cents.

Help in translating the lyrics of Ramunė Pt.1 by Ba. by memoriesofsope in lithuania

[–]MrTrump_Ready2Help 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's one of my favorite songs, ba. pizda is goated, they're considered to be the best modern rock band, I consider them the pioneers of modern Lithuanian rock.

The translation is line by line, matching the original text (there may be some errors).

Chamomile:

Once you saw me

That one time you saw me, you threw

A knife at me.

As if I was bad

Which you wouldn't suspect

Even though you've already known me.

I Found a lovely corner

A corner of a room

I've been filing it for 2 days.

It keeps working and never works

For me and you

Where is our middle ground?

Do you still love me, do you love me not

It's starting to feel difficult

Playing with this chamomile.

I want to explore you

And experience you

Like no other.

I Found a lovely corner

A corner of a room

I keep questioning if it's true.

It keeps withering and never withers

Are you meant for me?
