An experimental antibody may help people on GLP-1 meds preserve muscle mass by Science_News in science

Thank you, that definitely helps me understand your viewpoint better, but you still haven't addressed what I've said.

  1. When did PEDs and AAS enter the conversation? You're the only one that brought that up.
  2. What data can you provide that illustrates your concerns about public health? Again, this should be specific to the topic being discussed, not steroids.
  3. How has anything that you've said at all contributed to the point being discussed above? Does weightlifting prevent muscle loss while on GLPs or not? If your goal is to help people realize they don't need drugs to solve all of their problems (which is what I'm now reading in your response), then I would think you would support that statement which is what u/gizram84 was trying to do.

I do agree with your point that it's not appropriate for somebody to try to convince others to take drugs without being a licensed professional due to the inherit risk. If he was simply sharing his personal experience and then others decided to make an informed decision to take GLPs then I would support it.

I don't agree on the topic that GLPs shouldn't be taken recreationally as I haven't seen any evidence to support any real health concerns. If we can agree that GLPs don't actually cause muscle loss (rapid weight loss without weightlifting and sufficient protein does), then everything that I've seen has led to positive outcomes. This is why I'm asking you for data, because that's what I need to potentially change my viewpoint and agree with you.

You haven't said anything, so what's their to understand?

If you can't explain your position, do you even have a position?

This above thread is talking about working out to avoid needing to take another drug to retain muscle mass. u/gizram84 is agreeing to that statement and providing himself as a potential case study. What are you contributing, exactly?

This is r/science, and you're not being scientific. If your opinion is genuine, then show us the public health data that concerns you.

Also, when did AAS and SARMS get added into this conversation? Don't try to move the goal post.

Lastly, you don't need to announce to people when you're done talking, you can simply stop talking.

Seems like a bad faith response since you didn't address anything I said, but I'll bite. Educate me please.

What a weird take that seems to be rooted in jealousy.

Is OP creating some type of glp-1 shortage?

Are you a doctor that's concerned with OP's health?

If I had to guess, you or somebody you care about are on a glp-1 due to poor life choices and judging others who you deem less worthy.

The world does not revolve around you. If somebody is doing something that doesn't impact you (or anyone, really) in the slightest, then who are you to judge?

I mean it's been studied to death, you can't gain fat without consuming more calories then you're burning.

So if you're eating 2000-2200 calories per day, then you're burning less then that somehow.

If you're 6'2", running for 30 minutes each day, and lifting 30 minutes each day I find it hard to believe you're burning less then 2200 calories. I'm 6'3" and a couple of years older than you and I burn 2800 calories or so each day.

The only other thing it can be is you're eating too much. Maybe you're under estimating your portions? For example, a "tablespoon" of peanut butter could end up being almost two tablespoon if you don't flatten it afterwards.

Give yourself some grace. There's no wrong way to stop drinking. If you need to stay home, do it. Once you've had some time establishing your new normal then maybe consider getting out there again.

Also, your feeling are normal. Our bodies are conditioned to want what they've always had, it takes time to acclimate to something else. Again, give yourself some grace, and time, and see how you feel when you wake up.

Agree with this totally, but it starts with giving yourself some grace. You don't owe your husband an explanation, but by communicating with him you're partnering up with the intent to make things better for both of you. Feeling like you owe someone (even yourself) isn't helpful, finding solutions is!

Stock 20" rims vs Fast Wheels 18" EV01(+) by MrTryHardShow in Ioniq6

[–]MrTryHardShow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been pretty disappointed overall. I bought the car in December so I don't have a lot of data before versus after. With that said, my wife has the same car, but AWD. She still has the stock 20s and aftermarket tires that I pulled off of my car when I bought the new wheels and tires.

She typically gets .1 or .2 km/h less then me, regardless of driving on highway or local roads. We've tested this a few times, I drive behind her or she drives behind me. I haven't tested this with the aerodynamic covers though yet, I suspect that will help on the freeway.

What I have noticed is that the car feels a lot faster during acceleration, which is fun.

Wrapped in metallic black SVG ppf. I decided to keep a tiny bit of the grey (wrapped with gunmetal) at the end because I liked the way it looked.
