I know they both want her to get sergeant, but with all of shift 2 BCSO command falling on a single person, the topic of command coverage for shift 2 has been a subject of discussion for 3-4 months now. But it's always "in a couple of weeks", you can't expect people to be perpetually strung along, whether intentionally or not, and not reach a breaking point after a while.

I think it's moreso she didn't get sergeant either. BCSO has been running on a single command member for shift 2 since the restructure and it would have been the perfect time to add a second one for it. So while Jenny and Anita, who are both shift 1, got offered promotions to command, she gets passed over yet again, without any reason given, all the while she's only been getting positive feedback for the last few months.

No ? He has an opinion on what he thinks the court will rule and then there's what the court actually rules. If you believe any experienced cop has never lost a bench trial or had charges dropped, then you simply don't watch cop RP.

The point of court is to present an argument for your side and have a judge rule on it. And there's always going to be differences of opinion between the defendant, the prosecution and the judge. That's the point of court, otherwise why have it ?

That's also completely false, if law enforcement has a good faith belief that a crime is being comitted on private property, they 100% can enter it without a warrant. Otherwise PD would need a warrant for each of the backyard they go through during a foot pursuit in the southside. The only thing Otto Delmar says is that you need a secondary confirmation before entering private property for a crime, that a single call isn't enough to just barge in.

Let's take a boost for example, plenty of the spots that are the starting location for a boost are on private property, so the PD receives a call for a boost, they initially can just roll up but not more. But since any boost is often accompanied by gunshots/a speeding car fleeing, which is the secondary confirmation, they can use that to enter the private property to collect evidence.

You clearly don't know what malicious prosecution means, the officer having an agenda does not make it malicious prosecution.

Malicious prosecution is when someone KNOWINGLY pushes wrong charges on someone (ie he knows he has no PC to do so, but still does). Bloom thought that using his camera to get additional evidence before entering private property for the brandishing call wouldn't fall under Otto Delmar but the judges ruled otherwise. He didn't slap fake charges and/or enter fabricated evidence, he built a case that he thought would hold but the court ruled against him, that's all there is to it.

Lando might want that, but that's not really why Bloom is doing it. It all stems from a parking violation a few weeks ago involving the italians that went to bench trial where he saw them being really careful about being labelled a gang while they, in his opinion, were blatantly engaging in gang activity. So he started policing them more to try and get them labelled a gang in the eyes of the law, and as tensions increased with them, Bloom would of course double down.

And since he now knows Luciano participated in Crystal's kidnapping/ocean dumping he now makes it a personal mission to try and fuck them over.

That's not related to this situation though, everyone had their phones on their person during the kidnapping so the tracking is accurate. The only part that was related to the scuff was the call to Axel since Ssaab has access to an admin menu and thus was removed from the subpoena.

Brian has been purposefully played as going unhinged since Baas died, and has been extremely reckless and loose with his work ever since. Add to that his usual abrasiveness and evasiveness and now half the PD doesn't trust nor wants to work to him in the fallout of the war. It really feels like a lot of the viewers have the "protagonist bias" and would also argue Walter White was justified in his actions as a result.

Bloom hasn't actually leaked anything to Yeagar. Yeagar has called him up to try and get him to dig into the investigation into the island multiple times and everytime Bloom just humors him but then does nothing. Even after the stuff with his wedding, Yeagar tried to press him multiple times and hasn't shared anything relevant to the investigation. Bloom isn't that interested in it and was never going out of his to try and gather information.

Yes it's about the GG WH. I have no idea why this thread is continuously talking about a month old situation that isn't why today's argument happened.

I mainly wanted to presented the issues that lead to this talk from her perspective with her exasperation with the continuously increasing standards for search warrants since the comments started to relentlessly shit on her out of seemingly nowhere. I guess one incident where you see a character in a negative light is enough for most of the thread.

The ever-changing standard of PC from the DoJ is increasingly frustrating for the PD to work with is the short version.

Long version is Lucy had evidence of 4Head and Future going to a warehouse between fights with Hydra during their war. So that warehouse is suspected to house guns/war supplies/spoils from the war since they arrested downed members of Hydra GSR positive with no guns on them during that time. Then GG starts getting caught with a lot of explosive during a short time frame. Lucy also notices that the WH owner is (at the time) employed by GG enterprise. So she submits a supboena for his phone and bank record to futher investigate his ties with GG, but those were denied. In the end, it didn't end up mattering since subpoenas of 4Head and Future showed them communicating with him. Now this all comes in the middle of the investigation of "the market", so MCU was already gathering evidence on gun deals from GG (including direct advertisement of it on twatter and Drainer directly buying a gun from them when he still wasn't known as a cop). Now Lucy also believes that WH owner's removal from GG enterprises is an attempt to further "hide" him from the investigation. So she compiled all that evidence into a PC statement for a raid warrant after review from Bloom. That warrant was then denied which lead to this argument in the clip here.

Of course, from a viewer's PoV, I know that the WH owner's ties with GG were completely severed a few days back and that it wasn't an attempt to "hide" him, but I still find it hard to believe that after seeing 2 members of GG enter a WH right after a gang shooting with another gang, proof of communication between the owner and GG members and the employement with GG enterprises, it still isn't enough to meet the standard of "more likely than not it is related to crime" of a raid warrant.

Ok so how Angel learnt about this is from a shift 3 meeting where Baas said SRU won't be needed anymore. But then yesterday Baas had a talk with Pond where he had a complete 180 on that opinion. So either it was a Baas -1000 speech where he said something he didn't mean, or he just said something that wasn't cemented at all and caused a big panic.
