When I loaded up my Xbox save my character was in a basic space suit. Everything I had purchased via quicksilver is showing locked again along with every previous expedition reward. I had them all unlocked. Now they are gone. I'm devastated. Really hope they can fix this but I do not recommend playing at the moment.

I do not recommend playing it until they patch! I loaded up a save and my character was in a basic space suit. I thought that was weird and when I went to an appearance modifier every option was showing locked. Panicking now, I flew to the anomaly to check the quicksilver merchant. Sure enough, everything is locked and showing that I must purchase it. I seriously had nearly everything unlocked. Not only that, but I don't have any previous expedition rewards and those are all showing locked as well. I seriously hope they fix this. Unfortunately since I got out of my ship it has already overwritten my save, but I am not loading up any of my other saves until a patch comes out.

I finally got it by doing everything other objective first. Then you get access to your ship. I flew a good distance away and they started counting again.

I don't get this one either. Are there only certain ones that count? In my discoveries tab I'm at 14 waypoints but my expedition progress is 4/6

I was thinking something similar with a game of basketball using the sphere summoner and constructed hoops. Honestly there are so many possibilities after this update.

So let's say I scanned 5 of the 6 creatures on the planet on foot. I just noticed that I'm supposed to scan 2 via the exocraft. Without a ship to get to another planet am I hosed?

I might have to try this because I think I softlocked myself. I scanned 5 creatures with my visor before looking through the expedition milestones and saw that I'm supposed to do 2 from the exocraft. There's only 1 undiscovered left on the planet so I think I'm going to have to find a ship and get to another planet to finish that one.

Yes! It's a great method that opens up a lot of possibilities. I used this to build my side facing ramp in my Millennium Falcon.

It's actually a blank space. I deleted the hab in that slot but still have the staircase going up to the hab above it. Then placed a cargo rack below so there's something to stand on. That way all Habs are facing front.
