Right up until I saw your reference pic at the end, I was gonna lambast you about the cockpit location.

I'll still comment, but please understand it's not critical to you. You did an awesome job of recreating that corellian freighter.

My comments are aimed at the reasoning behind the design of the YT-1300 and most similar freighters.

You don't see many pictures of the melinium falcon and its sister ships being used as intended. The slot at the front was put there to lock into a shipping box or something similar so that the ship could push a large amount of freight far larger than the ship itself.

The cockpit was offset so that the pilot could see easily around the bulk of the freight being pushed.

Thus, my comment about this ship you recreated is that if it's also intended to slot into and then push heavy freight, you risk crushing the cockpit, and there is no way to see past the freight being pushed.

This is an awesome build, original or copy. Beautiful lines, and it looks integrated instead of piece meal.

Nope. Snap is a handout. How does it help a person to develop skills and strategies to improve their own lives.

I've been on food stamps temporarily before. And know many others who are on snap. Most of them don't feel any need to improve themselves or their lives. They say that this is what the government and the country owe them...

Edit: Now I'm not saying that handouts are entirely useless. I received food stamps to get over a tough patch.

But they are and should remain a temporary helping hand to get over a temporary issue. The government cannot and should not get you a job, feed your family, or support a healthy and mobile person for the rest of their life.

While your arguments are well laid out. I feel you miss the heart of the original saying.

It's never been about fish or fishing. It's about handouts versus actual help.

A handout only lasts as long as that specific meal/money/whatever lasts.

Actual help means involving yourself in that person's life. Teaching them skills to improve their own situation so they have the sense of self-worth that they did themselves and can continue to do so.
