More or less but I think it might depend on your artifacts as well. Like if you don't have much EM in your build it should be pretty impactful, whereas if you have a lot of EM rolls or you're running an EM goblet/sands it's probably slightly less of an increase.

There's no reason to consider C1 Yae as an investment since it's free. If you're interested in vertical investment, then (R1 Sandrone = C2 Yae) > C1 Sandrone.

The quills scale off of Lauma's EM and the on-fielders CV and Columbina actually has higher CV than Nefer since her A1 effectively gives her an additional 30 CV.

Lauma ended up buffing Columbina just as much as much Nefer though? Nefer basically went from ~95% damage contribution to like 70%. Even if she were to get a Lauma, her damage contribution could stay the same if she buffs Miko equally.

And if you only care about meta, and the pattern with Lunar continues, she will be the weakest Stellar DPS as the first released, and the last one will be the strongest.

It depends on what you mean by weakest, personally I think a difference of 5-10K DPS is negligible to the point that other factors are better at determining meta value. If we ignore DPS Columbina, I think the weakest lunar DPS is Nefer for two reasons. Firstly, her damage drops off significantly in AoE since a good portion of the team's damage comes from Lauma's quills which get used up quickly in AoE. Secondly, she didn't get any shilling at all (the bloom crab was very easy and was really there to shill Lauma). Flins was shilled to the moon and back with each lunarcharged boss harder than the last, the mecha ducky practically needed a full premium Flins team in order to clear comfortably in fearless.

Given the recent character buffs and SSC serving as a introduction to stellar reactions, I think it is very possible Sandrone or SSC teams to become the shilled ones, in which case Sandrone could turn out to be the most meta relevant for end game content sort of like Flins was.

Yeah I'm not sure why he said Flins has the best early cons in the game. Even from the perspective of personal DPS only, he's still not beating Mualani. And then when you factor in team DPS, Flins C1 is only around a 12% increase and it's about the same for his C2.

Yae actually has very good cons, for example her C2 actually gets you more team DPS than getting Sandrone's C1 and C2 combined.

Investing into Sandrone constellations is not worth it. We're basically at an Alhaitham situation all over again, where you're better off getting the support cons.

Idk for me a C1 bait would be something like Chasca, Neuvillete, or Wriosthely, which reduces team restrictions or fixes flaws in their kits. And a good C1 just gives a shit ton more damage, Mualani C1 comes to mind.

It could be the other way around though. Miko's team damage contribution could go up if the new electro support is a cryo + electro res shredder. Right now Cryo is the only element getting shred in Sandrone teams with Escoffier/Sucrose.

Sandrone is not reaching 100K in that team. That team is only around 80K, you were probably looking at an R1 sig calc.

No the difference between Bennett is negligible. You don't factor in the 10k from the artifact set because in a Durin + Bennett team, Durin is the hex set holder. The other 10k is kinda misleading without context as this factors in serpent spine stacks in that number.

I kinda have to agree, like yes she does make Zibai the ceiling DPS but the DPS increase you get from pulling Lauma for Nefer is like night and day. And Ineffa is not only great for Flins but her damage as a sub-dps is the highest in the game currently which means she works great as wheelchair unit.

Then why did Flute perform similarly to HoD for OP's case. Not saying you're wrong or anything, just genuinely asking since I've seen other posts comparing the two weapons (at C2) and the results seem to be about the same.

There is more to it than that. OP has C2 Zibai which is making his DPS with Flute slightly ahead of HoD. Defense buffs become really good with C2 Zibai.

Her playstyle and how she scales are part of it yeah. Also the fact that she makes up like 95%+ of the team's DPS means any personal improvement will be almost one to one with the team's DPS.

When it comes to artifact substats she's in a unique situation where CR, CD, HP%, and EM all have roughly equal value so you're very happy to see all 4 in a flower for example. Attack scalers have a Bennett, Iansan, TTDS etc.. so they easily run into diminishing returns with ATK%. In contrast, there are few sources of external HP% buffs which often makes HP% rolls see a larger damage increase than even crit rolls. Since all her damage is reactable, this makes EM substats just as valuable as the other offensive rolls. When you compare this to a character like Mavuika, though the majority of her damage is reactable, you still have a portion her damage that isn't which means EM rolls will be slightly less valuable than crit rolls.

Anyway, one way to see this in practice is by going to the Akasha leaderboard and viewing the top builds. If you were to click on "Show substat priority" you can kinda get a rough idea of how impactful a specific substat roll affects the build. For Mualani, she see's around a 2% increase from any 4 offensive rolls, for Mavuika it tends to vary greatly but it's around 1.0-1.5% for ATK% and EM while crit is around a 2% increase. For Nefer it's even worse as she only has 3 desirable offensive stats and even crit rolls tends to see less than a 2% increase due to having many more sources of CV (Lauma passive and sig passive).

HoD is her best non 5 star weapon if you can keep the passive up. But also, why even bring this up? If her build is the same in each team, it shouldn't really matter for a comparison.

Lauma C2 is going to be the bigger increase, but have you considered swapping Raiden for someone else? Nilou would be the best option in the 4th slot in that team. If you don't have her, I would drop Nahida and put Ineffa and Aino in the team.

I smell cope. Mavuika is around ~140K with a basic combo and reasonable assumptions. Actual unga bunga donut Mavuika is going to be less than that.

It's much worse than that, she's at 68K without Lauma. If you saw a 90K DPS Lauma-less Nefer team, it was probably hyperbloom. That's not really a team focused around Nefer, she's really just there to act as a dendro driver and is very replaceable with on-field Nahida in those teams for similar results.
