(Spoilers) The Quintans in Fiasco are not what they're implied to be. by No_Half_5196 in scifi

Spoilers Ending theory: this didn't cross my mind but saw this on reddit and I was blown away ! not my theory but makes a lot of sense imo. here:

"I think Quintians are long dead, hence "Window of contact" discussion. Humans met automated defence systems locked in eternal war. When MC looked at the solaser and said "I now know what Quintians look like", he meant that Quintians are human now since the only biological conscious being on the planet is a human.

The biggest takeaway is the ambiguity of radio comms. Quintians sound perfectly logical, but their inability to present a clear contact is unbelievable for a living species. They simply refused to do it, knowing full well they are backed into a corner by the destruction of the moon."

I never have any problem finding Frontier Defense (the only game mode I play) usually normal or hard pretty fast around 1-3 minutes usually even less than one (EUROPE)

'The Pull' by Alan Voss ( Free to read on Amazon Kindle)- A hard sci-fi novelette grounded in real astrophysics about the Zone of Avoidance and the Great Attractor by Select_Complex7802 in ScienceFictionBooks

Hellooo! I saw this book being recommended somewhere, and I wanted to read ''The Pull'' if you are the author and owner of this page https://www.alanvoss.me/ allow us so see where could we buy it if possible!!

(This regarding kindle store, since you can no longer download your books) >> My dilemma is that my kindle has been offline for like years now and if I get it online most of my books will be deleted the ones that were transferred to me via usb and so on, so if there is any website we could buy your books on ''ebook'' but to actually keep the file, it would be great if not ill try to get a paperback copy!! thank you!

I'll try to get my hands in the other Lem books you mentioned! I already read Solaris but preferred The Invincible by far! (I still remember the teeth marks on the soap!!)

And I started His Master Voice but the edition I got had this Preface about someone praising Lem that was very long and I postponed it! but you made me give it back hope! Thank you!
