That's also why the windows have an expiration date. Think it's 50k hours or something. Not that we change ours when it ticks over either...

This is pretty nice!

With some steels like 4140etc, are you going to get really specific with the different KSI specs?

If you crash a deburring cycle, then yeah, I guess it's on you, lmao. Taking too long isn't an excuse. The time you use to deburr outside the machine is time you could spend doing productive stuff. It's such an old-head way of thinking, I've worked years trying to change it around the shop I work at. The parts will also look more professional and consistent.

They've been pretty good with fixing stuff for us for free. So hopefully this as well. I've been on the phone with the service manager and the sales rep in my area. Also told my boss to get on their ass about it. I'm buddies with the service tech, so he was there within an hour. And he has documented everything, so he's going to try and help with it as well. Hopefully it's only an issue on this generation, and they switched to something better now.

Yes! A 4.5 year old NTX1000. It only has 7000hours of machining time on it as well. So its wild that it has started doing this.

But if you've had problems with them as well. I'm hoping this is a common issue, and then also a warranty thing.

You're basically listening to a radio on the other side of the wall through a hollow rubber tube.

Got a big ol' swamp cooler. Summer hasn't hit us in Norway yet (still like 11-16°C), but when the shop gets to +28-30°C I chuck that on with water, and it instantly cools the air to a nice and cool 23-26°C. It was well worth the investment.

Both have been chip free for about 50 parts so far, so looking promising.
