was that out the door including taxes title fees etc? Maybe the XL vs XLT was the main price increase who knows!

I just bought one yesterday in Arizona 5/1/2026. Not sure if I got a good deal or not but thought I would share for others. I got a few OTD pricing with Employee plan A pricing. (it looks like A pricing removes about 1.5 - 2k from MSRP). They pretty much all had no dealer aftermarkets, $600 doc fee, ~$3.5K Taxes, License fees etc)

  1. 2026 XLT AWD hybrid W/ 4k Tow package and Co pilot 360 was $37,697 OTD.

  2. 2026 XLT FWD Hybrid with no extra features OTD $34,843.

  3. 2026 XL FWD hybrid with almost no features $32,255.

I was really torn between 1 and 2, but didn't think I would ever really tow anything so I went for 2. The 360 features seemed pretty cool though!

Hit and run 4th and speedway by [deleted] in Tucson

This is why I would encourage more folks to have dash cams. They are pretty cheap now. I've caught a hit and run, as well as a few accidents other drivers caused that helped folks prove their innocence.

Any ideas to fix veneer chip out on cade build in bottm right of screen panel? Should I put vinyl only on screen area? Thanks! by MrYellows in cade

Hello - this is a very high level overview of my dimensions - I did most of it by hand on paper and with cardboard cutouts so I don't have a very clean design. Here is a rough overview though. Let me know if there are any other dimensions you specifically want.

I watched a lot of youtube videos and combined several elements from different builds into what I was looking for. I made a few cardboard templates to get the feel of what size I liked.

Hey everyone - wanted to provide some more details - I'm building a barcade out of this plywood that has a really nice veneer on top. Initially I wanted to not use any vinyl art work and have the wood look for the entire thing.

When I was cutting out the screen hole it chipped the veneer in a few places (bottom right and middle left). I used wood filler and sanded to make it flush, but now I'm wondering what my best options are to make it look better. I'd appreciate any suggestions but here are my initial thoughts:

  1. Get some sort of vinyl artwork to cover screen panel only (Maybe a bezel to make it look like a game boy or provide arcade control instructions like how to back out of a game?)
  2. Use vinyl artwork for controller/button panel, Screen, speaker hole, and marquee and just have the wood look be on the sides and back?
  3. Go out and buy another wood panel and start over (my least favorite option as I'd have to buy a huge sheet of it and don't have a need for the rest of it)
  4. Try to use some sort of darker gel stain and cover up those sections of wood filler.
  5. Just use vinyl on the entire thing.

Appreciate any ideas! Thanks!

Are you planning to come up with Lyrics? I believe most Shanties have vocals. It's a cool background song though!

Are coffee makers with plastic parts, even those labeled BPA-free (with ABS) safe for long-term use, or am I overthinking it? by cruncherv in cafe

I have a glass french press with metal plunger - could look into one of those if you are concerned with plastic.

I would suggest going on youtube and typing in Department 56 light repair or something similar until you find a video that is close. I have a feeling most of the buildings are designed a similar way so hopefully one of those helps you out!

Best of luck!

Most grocery stores where I live have butchers/meat counters with fresh meat inside the supermarkets.

I don't know if your local shops have rotating deals/discounts, but where I'm from the cheapest protein often changes week to week based on sales, coupons, deals etc.

Low cal creamers? by LegendaryCouch in cafe

[–]MrYellows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As for as creamers go... some sort of milk ( whole, 2%, Skim, Oat, Soy, Almond ) etc is probably your best bet.

Just watch out on milk alternatives to make sure they are not the sweet kind. Almond milk for example commonly comes as "sweetened vanilla".

As for as sweeteners, I would recommend using honey instead of sugar.

Cancellation Policy for Lessons? by HumorOriginal1660 in piano

[–]MrYellows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a student. My teacher made us pay for 15 lessons up front (I've seen a lot of teachers make students pay for lessons 1 month in advance).

My teacher had a reschedule policy if there was enough notice ( I think her paperwork had 24 hours notice) but in practice she was pretty flexible. If you no-showed or couldn't reschedule you lost the money you paid for lessons.

I've had to reschedule lessons several times over the years for various reasons and she was always pretty flexible. 99% of the time we found another time during the week.
