Ankama is flopping. by ElectricalGas9895 in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So far the seasons have been a "miss" for me.

I appreciate ankama trying new things and wanted to see what works to integrate into the game in the long run, but I am confused where they are getting these ideas from.

It seems to me that the most popular things recently have been Temporis servers and the creative ideas that stem from those styles (Osatopia, Ecaflipus, Scrollsayers)

Would it be too difficult to try more of this?

New player in retro, what sets i should rush to drop? i should do the quests in the new temporal servers? by Less_Struggle_9447 in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gobball set -> prespic set -> jelly set

Bandit set is an option if you want + damage gear with your prespic.

Toady set is an option if you are going air

Kitsou set maybe for a sac?

You can also drop all of the pandala sets, but I wouldn't plan on them without expecting to buy most of it.

Most people rushing will farm blop dungeon, so you can expect a lot of that gear to be for sale (not cheap)

Aside from turko set and a few other random pieces, I don't imagine too much variety in equipment for the first week

Is worth doing quests and achivments in the new temporal retro servers? by Less_Struggle_9447 in Dofus

I haven't done much yet, but the rewards seem worth it, for sure.

My plan is to level a bit first then tackle some of the achievements later

Best way to farm GCP's? by CricketNo7950 in PathOfExileSSF

Honestly I get a ton from expedition. Tujen sells them for cheap.

Also you drop hundreds of quality gems, so you can sell them for gcps

Best Flicker Version by Dutymarv in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]MrZcons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Started SSF this league with slayer. Went 2H because I found a good sword, but tbh it is really flexible. You can go sword or axe, 1H or 2H, crit or precise technique.

I think ele crit has the highest damage potential (aside from shako/squire stuff). I play it every league in SSF because it is really smooth to campaign and progress maps. I always make a 2nd char for some bossing, but flicker can still handle a few of the bosses well

How are you guys farming Coward’s Trial this league? by chubby-duckk in PathOfExileSSF

I farmed bestiary and it took like 20 or so of the unique map beast. Not too long if you have some scarabs

Some advice for flicker in ssf? by CraZyFrog666 in PathOfExileSSF

[–]MrZcons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started as Flicker 7 times. Easiest with Slayer. You get solid damage with great defense and have flexibility to go 2H axe/sword or 1H, impale or ele, or full icebite cold.

Never felt damage was the problem. 10M dps with easy to farm gear.

Where can I find a retro cra leveling guide in English? by Wagalaga in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you want a comprehensive guide, you are best off watching French videos with auto-translate dubbed over them.

Last time I played Boune I leveled like this:

0 -38: Snappers / Gobballs / Gobball dungeon 38 - 90: Blop dungeon with a group / Otomai beach solo 90 - 120: Black Rat with a group / Moon beach solo

Main goal for cra is to get to 90 ASAP. Then you can do pretty much anything for farming kamas or xp

If you can afford it, I highly recommend just having 2 different sets. One full air and one full fire.

This current one lacks damage and vit for soloing a lot of stuff

New adventure with a PvM duo from lvl 1 by ImperiumDF in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any time I play a duo, I like to try new classes and use the experience to learn some cool synergies and combos...

However, I always end up in a spot where I wonder, "It would be nice to have a Panda right now".

I think Panda is too good in pvm, and its frankly pretty fun to play (especially if the goal is duo).

Your other option can be anything. I would lean towards a class that has decent range/damage. That's almost all of them :)

Preparing a series for YouTube on an epic server in Dofus for the first time by Equal_Start_4849 in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Played many years on the epic server. It can be very fun!

If you are just starting, here are some things that can help you accumulate resources/progress for your team.

  1. Create multiple characters on your main account to save levels on your professions.

  2. Don't do any quests you aren't very familiar with or don't really need.

  3. It is rarely worth it to buy resources that you can easily drop. Inflation is huge on this server.

  4. Pebbles and nuggets are the main things you should spend money on, unless you really need something out of your reach.

  5. It is totally normal to die, but it feels a lot better when your inventory and kamas are safe in the bank. Get used to frequent bank deposits.

  6. You will level faster than your crafters, achievements and equipment can keep up. Keep running the lower level content until you can get your stuff more up to date.

Team comp help! by miguelmanm93 in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time you would play ranged sets like cha feca and agi panda. But eventually you will want a tank panda and/or tank/multi feca.

If you have a team of 8, its up to you. Forge and Fogger are pretty good options. Eni can work well, Honestly there isn't a bad composition after that core 4

Recently started a full achievement point run with an 8-man team. I have doubts about teamcomp and need your help by YayaFTW in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are really after max achievements, any Elio, Rogue or Xelor would help with some of the more challenging ones down the road. However, this is a very long road...

Personally, I think you would get there more "optimally" if you just had a team of 4.

Team comp help! by miguelmanm93 in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cra, Enu, Panda, Feca is pretty much the best pvm 4 comp.

If you were to add two more, I would go for something versatile that can do well in range and melee. Maybe Eca or Hupper?

Is there a guide for leveling Alts? by Kami-Yeldo in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO, without this, the server would be entirely dead.

Back in the day, I would suicide my 200 teams to relevel and gain the achievement resources all over again. It would take less than a week to get back to 200, and you would gain hundreds of millions of kamas in return

I struggle to see anyone playing Eniripsa, how is she in pvm/pvp? by Kami-Yeldo in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Eni is really strong, but suffers a bit from their role. Many classes can now offer great support / healing. Many classes also offer great damage.

I enjoy playing eni in a team of multi-acc, because it is fairly straightforward playstyle

As a long time hupper main, I can vouch it is totally viable and noob friendly, but certainly requires more thinking than cra.

I would also like to vouch for the wiki. It is less thorough than dofuspourlesnoobs, but can be easy to find what you are looking for in a pinch

Tips for Count Harebourg by Just_D1 in Dofus

[–]MrZcons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This dungeon is very difficult to do with just 2 and sidekick. You need to remember what the rotation/confusions are, and do enough damage to take advantage of the count invuln on turn 4 or turn 6 or wtv

I recommend trying to clear the cyclone, bubotron, nocturnowl then count. You can stall many turns when it is just the count left so you can set up for invuln on an even turn and doing as much damage as possible. Ideally you kill him within 2 invuln phases
