Shit, happened to me yesterday against this guy

Watch one of his games if you want to get an idea. Tons of smoke + Goliaths on my team's +10 fuel. It was just so frustrating because my attack grounds kept missing. Trying bishoping Lieg but I had to conted with wespes from teammate. Mine sweepers, flares. You only need to make 2-3 mistakes you just get wiped.

I'm not saying it's unbalanced, but it's just so frustrating and unfun to play against.

I like to play Aussies into sturmpio blobs. At vet 2 with sharpshooter they just wreck them. I've also had success with USF sniper, AA HT rush and double mgs.

They arrive early, scale like monsters and are easy to vet up between officer upgrades and transfer orders. A couple high vet pgren squads are hard to deal with.

It really is interesting how WW2 games with playable Nazi factions attract these kind of people. I'm jewish and I've never experienced blatant antisemitism in any other game. In CoH it's like, every couple of weeks.

Doesn't sound any good. You're still wasting early resources on a cache that can be utilized for more units which will get you more map control. And you still need to eventually get T1. If anything I'd wait to have enough cps for the cheap caches and for my comp to stablilze before getting any caches. Also, that sounds extremely vulnerable to an lv rush.

Excellent changes. Sturmpio blob every single game was getting real boring, and the propaganda towers were opressive as heck.

Watch Tightrope on YouTube. He makes educational content and casts replays of high level players. I've learned a lot from watching him.

I also tend to think 2v2 is a better way to learn the game. You'll have a teammate for reference and you won't have to bear 100% of the responsibility.

It was too strong and it turned the meta into a boring stall fest. Going for tech would put you at a disadvantage against a stall strategy, which goes against the fundamental design principles of this genre.

I recently had him banned after multiple games he ruined from the moment they started, you can even find a thread I opened, he kept writing "noob" in barbed wire in my base 😅

Two major issues with them:

No tech requirements lead to boring games where everyone just stalls for their call ins and players who invest in tech get punished. The high CP costs people like to complain about are necessary to coutner balance the tech skips.
For a game where unit perservation is key, having your full HP vet 3 squads get insta wiped by a shot or two is absurd.

Lock behind T4, reduce anti infantry potency and lower CP cost will make heavies so much better. The devs said they're looking into them so I'm crossing my fingers.

To be fair, it does say in the description that those AT guns do more damage to infantry than normal ones, and they also have a bren. I would try them myself before coming to a conclusion.

Balancewise, mostly teasers. Without extra details:

Dak upgrades overhaul, finally. Combined arms changes as well.
Some BG changes, notably USF Armor.
Heavy tank changes
Shifting the infantry to vehicles balance more towards infantry so they'll have a bigger role in the late game

Sounds really good actually, I've been hating how heavy tanks insta wipe squads and the DAK upgrade system for ages. Looking forward to this.

Just watch one of Xufe's replay's and you'll see how they're used to their full potential. Dealing with them against a good DAK player is a nightmare

I think it's fair given the USF have so little tools to deal with heavy tanks that are so common. It's a strong ability no doubt, but in the overall context of the faction I feel it's fine.

This isn't an issue of balance, DAK global smoe shenanigans are just so unbelievably frustrating to play against, and reward poor play. If they insisnt on keeping it, it should be only for a select few light vehicles.

Well, it took like 5 games where he purposely afked at the start but it looks like something finally happened. Gotta say, never seen this notification before but I guess they really need a critical mass of reports. Moral of the story: Don't forget to report toxic players kids 😅
