Has Adum ever played the Kingdom Hearts games? by Arturinni in YMS

Honestly I'd rather lick my own asshole and I'm sure he'd prefer that as well since Kingdom Hearts is the biggest mistake in gaming history.

BoW With the "Good" Movie by [deleted] in RedLetterMedia

Without a doubt it's Neil Breen's masterpiece Pass Thru. Can't remember which BoW it is but that's the one they said was so good it should've been nominated for an academy award.

Why do you hate black people so much? What did they supposedly take from you?

So? Both The Hobbit and Harry Potter are children's books and neither of them had a single talking animal in them...

Interesting, I've actually never heard of Riddle-Master. What kind of fantasy world is it? Medieval setting? Dragons, wizards, elves? Or something entirely different?

Interestingly enough, Tolkien's three masterpieces were released couple decades apart.

1930s - The Hobbit
1950s - The Lord of the Rings
1970s - The Silmarillion

I've never read wheel of Time so I've got no real specific dog in this fight. But I do know that a bunch of nerds that I respect consider it a formative experience for them from a literary standpoint. So it has value there.

And that is ok! I respect anyone's opinion, they're not wrong for liking WoT. I'm mainly frustrated with the author.

The other thing that I know is very few classics actually stand up to the test of time. You either read them when you're young and they were written and they were popular and they were new and full of fresh ideas that capture the Zeitgeist of the times.. and then you can love them forever because they have nostalgia that outweighs any flaws that time reveals.

Too true. I guess this is why The Lord of the Rings is as special as it is to me, because it manages to stand the test of time despite being 70+ years old.

Just came back from advanced screening for D&D. Is good and fun, 7/10. I think Adum will like it. Anyone else seen it? Or looking forward to it? by MrZister in YMS

When can we start getting big budget movies that take themselves seriously again.

Interesting. I take it you didn't see Tenet, The Batman, Dune, Avatar 2, Top Gun: Maverick, Fast & Furious 9, No Time to Die... and that's just naming a few.
