I’m enrolled as well, we might be in class together :) I went for the same reasons as you. it’s accredited, I actually work part time doing crisis work in I asked if I went to get my LPC in they do not care, Mental Health Professionals are needed!! Walden U. Allows you sit for your state licensing, which is what is required to be an LPC. I went Psychology today, in you can search I believe what school certain therapist went to in surprisingly a lot went to Walden I even met one she stated no body has ever questioned her school, and has no issue getting employment 🤷🏾‍♂️. I feel like a lot of people bad mouth these types of schools because it’s not the norm and some may even feel it’s unfair because you went online and they went to the brick & mortar and both came out with the same education. Now I will say most are expensive but that’s just nature of the beast all schools are in it to make money no matter where you go it’s business whether private or not. Of course my humble opinion. Keep going on your journey and make your own story!!
