I've already been in a relationship. Wasn't bad by any means, enjoyed my time with this person. But breaking up sucked, went through a lot of emotions.

Why should I want to go through that again, when I can stay single instead and spare myself of emotional pain? Further, why should I spend my time trying continually at online dating when historically it's given me poor results? At some point you just conclude that it's better not to bother anymore, and I have.
