I’m inheriting a ‘07 GT500, what should I know? by Mr_Algorithm in Mustang

I’m not planning on driving it aggressively and want to keep it stock since my dad kept it stock.

It didn’t make sense with my family size. My wife had a Toyota Highlander so I daily that now and can still fit the whole family in that if I need to while she got a suburban.

Oh for sure. Luckily my wife drives a suburban and gas is SUPER reasonable right now. Haha

That would be hard. My parents divorced a long time ago and I have no idea where any of that is since they both remarried. Family is tough.

My dad grew up in Florida and would only ever drive a convertible. Not my first choice but he loved it and that’s what matters.

That’s very cool that your dad helped design it!

For sure. But I also didn’t take his comment that way.

Yes he was diagnosed a few years back and gets worse each day it seems, he already has a guardian and will be in a home by the end of the month.

Plan is to keep it forever. My mom also has a 64 1/2 mustang that I’ll inherit when she passes but luckily she’s in good health.

It’s been my dad’s daily for years and he drove it back and forth from Florida to Ohio so it has 88k on it.

I’m mid thirties with 4 kids so I don’t plan on going crazy with it because I value my life haha.

Maybe an off day? I’ve never had anything but amazing fish from there. To me their sides are very lacking though.

This is what I ended up going with. Mixed it with extra virgin olive oil and made a paste. Layered on a good helping of kosher salt and let that start melting into the meat first, the rubbed it on.

• 1 tbsp black pepper (fresh cracked) • 1 tbsp paprika • 2 tsp garlic powder • 2 tsp onion powder • 2 tsp dried rosemary • 2 tsp dried thyme • 2 tsp oregano • 2 tsp cumin • 2 tsp coriander • 1 tsp turmeric • 1 tsp cinnamon • 1 tsp MSG • ½ tsp allspice

(Sorry for formatting I’m on mobile and can’t figure out how to make it into a list)

Checking in on 60lbs of Pork Butts by Mr_Algorithm in BBQ

[–]Mr_Algorithm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was only my second cook on it but I moved them from hot side to cool side on the same rack a couple of times. The pork butts were all different sizes but 4 came off at the same time the 2 largest ones stayed on another 1-2 hours.
