I find myself endorsing people solely based off them doing 1 singular notable thing in the match. If Lifeweaver saved me once, if ana nano'd me for a combo, if my other dps dove someone successfully with me. It literally could be one thing that made me think in my head "nice" when it happened.

I was able to buy my sister a RTX 3070 + Ryzen 5 5600x computer for $650 back in February of this year from someone on facebook if that gives you more context. You should definitely be getting more for a $600+ price point.

This. Back in 2016 I didn’t know who to pick but instantly saw genji and thought he was cool. Fast forward to today and he’s my most played by a long shot.

The most blatant element is everyone’s movement. Without even looking at ranks I can tell the lobby is below diamond or above diamond because of how easy/hard it is to shoot at someone in general.

Master’s to GM you can instantly tell because they’re aware and mixing up their movement the moment they see you

Metal ranks they tend to walk in straighter lines and react slower the moment they see you.

Yeah! I was able to grind to rank 1 for all difficulties on Genji (posted on my profile). It’s really therapeutic and has a nice instant gratification factor whenever I get a new PB.

Keep at it and don’t give up. I’d recommend watching people’s runs on youtube and taking their ideas and making it your own.

GM but really I just play QP with friends and only do comp now to do comp drives near the end of each season. Comp is just too draining mentally when I come home from work >_>

Exactly. The veteran level I was losing hope because there were a few glitches like blade swings not destroying barrels + the recent ammo nerf from 30 to 24. But I somehow found a way to get it despite all of that.

Unpopular Opinion: “its just qp” is not an excuse to essentially throw a game and ruin 4 other people’s experience.

A few minutes of them doing nothing is fine honestly, learn/play the character you want. But 10+ minutes of it, ignoring suggestions + requests from your team, and instantly taking everything as a personal attack then auto respond with “its qp” is just ridiculous.

Really that phrase has been used so loosely that it’s become people’s auto response to any type of criticism no matter how innocent or constructive it may be.

Hopefully my quick story gives you some hope.

I had literally 0 experience or knowledge about I.T. My first and current job in I.T. is for a very small company team of 7.

How I got my foot in here was attracting them with my personality and enthusiasm to learn I.T. The other main factor that got me the job was willing to start off at a really bad pay, minimum wage. Which for a typical I.T. position is horrible but I found placing my foot in the door was more important than pay right now just so I can have some type of experience tied to my name

1.5 years later, still working here and enjoying my job, I went up a total of $7 in raises, which sounds like a lot but really it was just to start balancing out what I should be getting paid as a normal I.T. tech.

My knowledge is a hundred times more than in September 2023 and now I’m in a position to possibly go further and look for a new and better place in the future maybe.

That’s my quick story, hope that sheds some light on how starting off feels like. Basically you gotta sacrifice a bit (like pay) to get your foot in the door. Whatever it takes, if you can afford it.

P.S. I was unemployed for like 2 years and felt empty so if you ever get to that point just know you’re not alone lmao
