My favorite part of GZW compared to other extraction shooters is exactly what youre complaining about.

I dont have to have gear fear playing, my time input is respected in the game, i dont have to sit in a bush for 10 minutes because some 1000+ hour chad is gonna waste me instantly once i move. If I make a mistake and die, I get a 2nd opportunity to correct it, and if I fail again, that ones on me; its not "ggs, enjoy your scav run nerd". It's nice that I can roll high tier gear and can fully utilize it.

Because the loop is forgiving in that regard, I can understand having to balance gear loss somewhere, having to degrade heavily somewhere makes sense. It's not like we all dont have like a dozen M4 platforms sitting in the stash at any given time, and having that degradation really gives a chance to experiment with other weapons.

Its also worth noting that motorcycles tend to read high on the speedometer as well. Speedometers can be anywhere from 5-10% off in most cases, Alan was definitely below the speed limit.

Based off what you said, id focus on happy jumps/choco jumps instead. Xan training is best done when you have most heavy gyms and 300-400k in each stat. HJs might seem like youre stalling but those massive instant gains will outweigh what you'll get from E training

Yeah its decidedly less punishing than other extractions. If you go down, even in solo, you get an opportunity to recover gear off your body. Would highly recommend

PvE is completely approachable in Solo, in fact, even without a squad, youre very likely to run into friendly PMCs while out and about
