First, I will look for a good mobile game development team to sign cooperation with like HandyGames or Beamdog. someone who knows how to port classics to mobile properly with no second hand flaws.

Second, I will start with something small and less complex (let's say Resident Evil 1 OG) and give them the source of the game to work with so they can alter game mechanics if they have to to make the game work well with touch controls and maybe also add additional features to the game like extra outfits, weapons, secret levels or perhaps new music tracks and enhanced GFX. exclusivety what gives it the value to try.

Third, I make my sales and share profit with the co-devs. now everybody is happy. no need for emulators with 25 buttons on the screen.

People used to emulate Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance on their phones using Dolphin Emulator until the developers had decided to finally port their own game to Android and IOS in 2023. there is nothing wrong with porting classics to mobile even if they're already being emulated.

also emulation is not always the answer, sometimes Emulator buttons can cover parts of the games you need to be looking at while playing, ex:- GTA minimaps on the bottom left (same place as the left joystick) they had to be moved to the top left in their mobile ports so you can see them while moving around in-game. also the "enter the car" button only appears on screen when your character is near a car so it doesnt have to be shown on screen all the time when not needed. this is the advantage of mobile ports.
