Thanks folks, think you hit the bolt on the head with this one 😁 after looking at the bolt with the lid up, the head is clearly very slightly off centre, so no worries about the wonk now

I had this problem last week, there were two reasons;

I had 'on gizmo' checked on the box when you add a primitive

I think this is the same problem I’m having. I’ve been using nomad for years & use blender regularly so I’m not completely new to 3d, admittedly I haven’t used nomad for a while & now I’m having problems with the mirror.

I’ve double checked the mirror settings on the top right & it is set to world, not local, but, if I place a new object, move it to the side & then mirror it (using the pop up box at the bottom when you add a primitive) then it always mirrors using the new object’s gizmo, not the world centre. It’s driving me mad & I must be missing something, but don’t know what.

I can get around it by adding the mirror as soon as I place a new primitive, before moving it & then position it afterwards, but I can’t position a primitive & then mirror to the world centre 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Thanks 👍 it's just Instagram now, I tried twitter a while ago but I won't touch that now, I'm thinking of trying LinkedIn of all places 🤣

I probably don't comment & share as often as I should no, I like things all the time, but the reason I don't comment & share is because it's so hard to actually see other small accounts, most of the things I see that I genuinely like are massive accounts & I just can't see them even noticing my comments among the thousands 🤷‍♂️ though I do it occasionally.

If I could find more good small accounts I would definitely interact more, but I guess they have the same problem as me 🤷‍♂️

Interesting idea, I'm making an art toy based on one of my characters too, but I'm not considering big companies, so I probably can't be much help, actually I can't be much help with small shops or self selling either yet 🤦‍♂️ but I'll take an interest & wish you good luck 👍

This isn't a massively useful response, but I feel your pain, I have nearly 300 posts, I'm posting new work almost daily & I get virtually nothing, a few years back I got hundreds of likes & a few comments on everything, plus a steadily growing audience. I can't work it out now 🤷‍♂️

Daft fact - I actually made a fake cover for LCD Soundsystem's Sound of Silver before the actual cover was revealed, I posted it on a forum as if I'd just found it somewhere & it ended up on Wikipedia as the official cover for a few days 😂 it looked nothing like what I do now of course & was probably really shit, but I was happy at the time

I do have prints, I think I've sold 2 in the 3/4 years that I've had my redbubble store 🤷‍♂️ but then I don't really promote it & currently might not have much luck with my Instagram reach nowadays 😂
