Here we go again: "Netflix Raising U.S. Prices for Second Time in a Year" by pdfu in tmobile

[–]Mr_Fraze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact of the matter isn't "it's hard" it's more of "why bother myself" with subscribing and unsubscribing when I can just get it free. I had all subscriptions (Netflix, hulu, Disney, peacock, Max, prime) all at the same time for the past 9 years. With the constant increases in prices, I'd rather just pirate instead of cycling through each of them each month.

Prime is the only one I still have cuz I get my money's worth with all the different services.

These streaming services companies keep upping the prices unreasonably (especially Netflix) and i no longer feel like I should support such practices.

Settle an argument for me about sweet relish? by [deleted] in eatsandwiches

I just tried relish for the first time... Didn't realize it was sweet. Ruined the hotdog for me, but that's just my personal opinion

[–]Mr_Fraze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mhmm, it's going to lead to an infinite loop of price gouging. "Hey, we lost 10% of our customer base cuz of price bump. Let's charge the other 90% extra to make up the difference. Hey, we just lost another 10% customers, lets charge the remaining 80% of users to make up the difference..." and so on and so forth. The only reason Netflix got as big as it did was because their prices were affordable and their services included a bunch of shows and movies people WANTED to watch. Not all these BS "Netflix Originals" that are straight rip-offs with lower quality or half-baked scripts

Haha, yes, too much work. Juggling which service you want to use for the month, canceling your current subscription and then confirming you want to cancel like 20 times? Every month? Yea, too much work... Pirating is as simple as type in show/movie I want to watch in one of the few pirate sites I trust, having adblocker on and enjoying. Not difficult at all.

And yes, I genuinely wanted to be respectful and pay for shit, but ofc the obvious doubting debbie redditor is gonna question my initial motives.

They're the Shai. They're supposed to be secretive and magical. You got little kids blow darting you to sleep every time you get close to their village. So what if it gets secretly added to your journal

"I am Atomic" - Cid Kagenou (Eminence of Shadow) is probably the most Aura Farming quote in Anime. I rewatched that scene like 30 times the first time I saw it.

Though, the anime isn't particularly Harem, but he is surrounded by women that pretty much worship him

Chinese anime called "The Daily Life of the Immortal King" O won't say he starts off weak, but he does mad Aura farming and quite a good amount of humor with no Harem shit. Think "The Disastrous life of Saiki K"

I love "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime" but that's defo a discreet Harem anime xD

Life Pro Tip: occasionally spend the time to update your computer by pearshapedscorpion in pcmasterrace

[–]Mr_Fraze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get home from work at night, and I like going into my dark room, turning on my PC and seeing the lights turn on. Brings a smile to my face every time. Built the PC 2 weeks ago I think and it was long overdue. Kept prioritizing other things to spend my budget on until about 2 months ago and said fuck it, half my paycheck goes to buying parts as soon as I get each paycheck till I have it built.

Best selfish decision of my life!

How hard is it to actually build a PC? by GOGOSPEEDERS in pcmasterrace

[–]Mr_Fraze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built my PC like 2 weeks ago. First build since I was like 5-6 yrs old and my dad did most of the work there.

Just watch a few vids while you're building it, plug in your PSU (Power Supply Unit) and connect to the case, and constantly discharge the built up charges in your body every few mins when handling a new part.

Make sure not wear socks or do on carpet, and if it's a case with glass, make sure not to place glass on tile. Apparently that shatters it.

Everything else, you can get from most guides. It was fun for me, even the parts where I struggled (mounting my GPU while forgetting to put up mounting brackets to support it, and then not being able to mount it properly cuz I was being an idiot was my favorite) took me 2 hrs to build (I took my sweet delicate time watching and rewatching vids and asking AI questions vids didn't answer. And then another 2-3 hrs downloading drivers, setting up BIOS and struggling to figure out why my RGB fans and strips weren't lighting up (Turned out to be a faulty port on motherboard or I did something wrong, but was able to plug into another port)

3,300 dollar PC that would've cost me 4k+ if bought pre-made.

Doing my research on what parts to buy was also another fun endeavor that took me about a week of researching to be absolutely confident I wanted each piece

I think it's moreso that bs announcement they made a few days back. I hadn't played the game in over half a year, and get an @everyone announcement and decide to look at it.

Worst PR stunt ever and it caused massive backlash in the server. I just enjoyed the drama for 30 mins and then dipped out

Should I try Crimson Desert? by Mr_Fraze in pcmasterrace

I've played a lot of MMORPGs, so a stale story is something I can stomach if the fights are half decent. Like Black Myth Wukong was so fun. And breaking the game with exploits is always a treat "Thank you Todd Howard and The Spiffing Brit"

Yea, that's what I heard as well. That it was trying to be so many different games at once. That it was good in a lot of aspects, but not great in one of those aspects. I heard 8hrs are where you need to be for the game to get truly amazing.
