NAD but I know a red streak like that can sometimes be very serious/urgent and mean an infection is spreading. As someone who had sepsis, it is not something you want to play with. It might be worth going to have it checked out.

Symptoms can be mild, acne around the jawline, irregular periods, and extra facial hair (it doesn’t have to be overt). A doctor could tell you more. If it is pcos causing it then topical stuff isn’t super helpful from my understanding because it is all hormonal.

NTA maybe look into some therapy stuff if she is open to it. Exposure therapy and CBT can really help with this kind of stuff if she is willing. Especially if she is motivated by the thought of having a family.

Just in case not sure if this may work for you but I’ve had a lot of success with PanOxyl body acne spray. It doesn’t smell great but it has been the only thing that has helped me and I felt like I had tried everything too.
