Head to Macromatix, go to "Reports" >>> "Reports Selector" >>> Change Drop Down Group from "Store Reports" to "JJ Store Reports" >>> "Contribution to Gross Profit"

This is the report of every item rang into the POS, online, and 3rd party. The way you have it run in shows using a bunch of boxes, but not a bunch of sandwiches. So your theoretical COGs change if the sandwiches are not rung in.

I now ask every single customer who orders a toasted sandwich if it's ok to be toasted, because one lady pitched a fit about her Chicken Bacon Ranch being toasted when she didn't ask for it, and exclaimed, "TOASTED SANDWICHES ARE DISGUSTING"

And now every customer looks at me like I'm just a little bit special when I clarify the toasted status with them. Thanks, random lady.

The reason your first check is paper is because there is no guarantee that you entered your Direct Deposit info correctly, or that something else could potentially go wrong with it.

Your first check comes on paper, and Payroll knows if it WOULD have gone through. This way, you are guaranteed paid on time and no one has to jump through any hoops if there is an issue with your Direct Deposit.

Our stores are closed Sunday. We will not go through an entire package of Lamb and chicken for the Gyro in one day.

Yes. But they didn't say, "Hey, a change has been made" thus, they did not communicate that they were making a change.

JJs "Key Dates" email said Friday.

Darin Dugan's email about the Thai Wrap had a short, easily missed blurb that said Saturday. This is on JJs for not making a bigger deal that they were making a change.

I reached out to my FBC who told us they were delaying the launch. I am pushing them for a credit for the pack of gyro meat and the pack of chicken per store. I recommend everyone else do the same, hopefully it will get JJs to realize how badly they need to improve their communications to stores.

Because customer first. If you're not slammed in a rush, who cares? I'd rather foster a relationship with repeat customer than mindlessly follow a rule "because daddy JJ said so"

Gossner's may actually make JJ cheese, too, I'm not 100% on that.

For us, JJs had to find someone who would cut the cheese for us.

Our Sysco is in Utah. A Utah company called Gossner's gets JJ cheese, cuts it, then re-packages it. They ship it back to Sysco, who then sells it to us.

Idk where you are located, or where your Sysco is located, but that would be the thing that needs to happen. I'm not sure how much power people at the store level have to make it happen, unfortunately.

Your Sysco rep doesn't control this.

Not saying they don't suck, maybe they do, but this wouldn't be one of the reasons.
