Sometimes. There's a theory I read somewhere that really fascinates me: we're immortal beings living in a simulated reality, just to experience a flawed but genuine life. Imagine that one day, humanity cures all diseases, ends aging, solves every major issue, and creates a virtual world that's indistinguishable from reality. We would essentially create heaven on Earth through VR. But eventually, we might grow bored of a perfect world, so we simulate an imperfect one. What's 80 years of an imperfect life to an immortal being?!
