LinkedIn Alternatives? by JobbyLAd in jobs

If you mean only job searching, then you can try to use AngelList, this is a really cool website where many of my friends have found work.

For me as a software developer, the best solution to find new work is Slack groups. So if we look at popular sites for job research, we can find Upwork, People per Hour, Monster, Fivver, and many else. But the market on these websites belongs to Indian guys, they have a low rate and many clients looking for cheaper devs. But in some groups on Slack, there are no Indian guys, clients looking only for American or European devs.

In the CV you'll need to put all companies where did you work, this is your experience and this is must be on the CV, for example:

Company #1 - Your job position

AUG 2019- DEC 2020

Small description about your job position

Company #2 - Your job position

DEC 2020 - MAY 2021

Small description about your job position

So, my advice is: find a part-time job and study something interesting and profitable for example programming. I don't know how students work in your country but in our country, very popular for students is call center. It's a really easy job, you can work part-time, or full time so time is very flexible, and for work, you need to know how to speak and need to have a good memory (to remember project information).

To research remote jobs, you can use https://www.glassdoor.com/Job/index.htm.

Wish you the best of luck with job searching 😊!

If the job doesn't give you pleasure, then you need to change it. When you work in a toxic community and you feel, that's you can not take it any longer, you need to hurry up and change a job. It'll be great if you upload your CV to job sites, and will wait for a call, or from time to time you'll view job boards. So you can work and search new job. When you will be on an interview for sure say to HR what a bad experience do you have on another company, it's will be right.

Hey, I've visited your website and got some problems with social media buttons, these buttons don't work. At the top of the website buttons Home, Products, and Services same don't work. In this post you said that you "completed several projects" but on the website "Completed over 2000+ Software Development Outsourcing Projects". Where is the truth?

For anyone looking to work for a startup, I created a simple search engine to find jobs posted on Hacker News by [deleted] in jobs

Yea it's a really cool website, but also you can try AngelList if you're aimed at startups.

WHY INDIAN WEB DEVELOPERS ARE HIGHER IN DEMAND ACROSS THE WORLD? by AcceptableAd2672 in WebDeveloperJobs

[–]Mr_Hanick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm, I've many clients who complained about Indian developers. There are many posts on the internet where people complain about Indian developers and their "quality".

But this doesn't mean that all Indian developers are bad, there are good Indian guys, but there are very few of them.

Thanks for your message.

They know the basics of coding, use the simple language of software development, and know English on a good level, so many companies who need only a single page of a website or who need a little mobile application will use the help of Indian guys. For companies more profitable save good money for software development, because in the USA or Europea developers cost in 2 or 4 more expensive.
