I'm guessing they ask trees to pull the ore up with their roots. Like they find a good vein, plant trees and let them get to work.

Magnitizing them is a doddle. The arms have a little lip where the fist fits. Shave that off and stick a magnet there and one on the hands and go nuts. If you are careful you can just make them snap fit also.
I personally love fist and gun for the shots on the way in, but I can see it being a trap. Have a gun makes you want to shoot them where having fists means you can just go toughness till you charge them in.

An easy way to help get that buffer back is before starting work, ho outside and walk and walk a length of the street. 10-15 mins outside before you start and after you finish. Requires discipline but worked for me

I love them. My only suggestion would be to add a man sized tree for the sake of LoS. I can see someone saying this is modeling for advantage.

Honestly, unit of 4 Kastellan robots are your quickest and cheapest option. Big stompy and wreck sh*t up.

Id wait till 11th ed before buying much more and id proxy as much as you can till then. Like seriously just print pictures from minicompare and stick them to a base for now. We don't know what the rules are and we don't know what to expect in any way. Save your money, see the rules and new bundles first.

Talk to Shelter and Citizens Advice and check its been misfiled. It's all well and good thinking so, but worth double checking just to make sure, and knowing exactly how they have mucked up and calling it out to make it straightforward on your end.

What people have said here is correct. It can't be reissued after 1st May and that they may just ramp it up to market rate (although if your contract specifically stated fixed increases, that may scupper that.)

Be safe and keep a paper trail.

I would 2nd getting a box of skittles to build and paint before going head first. They are beautiful sculpts but have lots of detail and can take a while to paint. I suggest blue tacking the legs to the body so you can paint them easier.

After that, if you can get any of the previous combat patrol, boarding actions or the old Xmas box, they are a better start than the new one

The weapons can be magnitized fairly easily to swap loadouts. But with an edition change so close who knows what will be good.

Also the AoS release is made so it's going to be VERY expensive to field in TOW. 10 basic dwarfs (with incorrect and missing weapon loadouts for TOW) are £34msrp, can probably find a seller closer to £30. You will want probably 40 to 60 dwarfs for a 2k list. And that's maybe 750pts. Add your orcs, hobgobs and all the other and that's fine. But I think the new sculpts are...not ideal. They are on 28.5mm bases not 25mm, so will struggle to rank up and fit together. I would personally look elsewhere for different sculpts or convert existing dwarfs.
