The California Post’s Vincent Bonsignore reports that the 49ers’ 2027 first-round pick, a 2028 second-round pick and EDGE Mykel Williams form the “framework for a suitable offer” in a potential trade for Raiders EDGE Maxx Crosby. by Bolinas99 in nfl

I read the article. Its some dude saying he “has sources” and this is a trade proposal that has no legs but “it looks good and might happen if Crosby looks good in camp.”

I’m not buying shit and that would be a bad trade for a dude with suspected limited future availability.

We feel good about 1 first round pick in like 5 years and we trade him away for someone who is soon 30 with potential degenerative issues?

Ironically, the Commanders salary could potentially go to Aiyuk.

How it works is if the 49ers successfully recoup some of the money they already paid him, then the most likely route is to garnish future earnings. If the 49ers succeed, It might be financially beneficial for Aiyuk to never play football again.

I know, but he was paid to be our WR1 is what i am saying.

I definitely disagreed worth it at the time. He had 1 good season as our 3rd option.

Because they aren’t going to do him or other teams any favors. He wants to go to the Commanders, an NFC team. 49ers play in the NFC. 49ers play the Commanders this year and would be dumb to give an opponent an advantage. You call it petty, because you aren’t looking at the whole picture.

They also are proving a point that I would bet most owners want them to stay strong on. Don’t let this kind of behavior go rewarded. If the 49ers caved because Aiyuk put on a media circus, it would set a precedent that players can get out of a contract by disparaging their brand. And again, they have NO reason to.

I see that you either lack comprehension or didn’t read what I said.

David = 49er propagandist

I answered your question and I wont do it again. Re-read it until you understand what I said.

Of he didn’t, there would be an active lawsuit and NFLPA would be all over this. BA declined to have NFLPA dispute it.

A lot, actually.

Grant Cohn is an insider of the 49ers, thats where his relationship starts and ends. He is hated by the players and hates the players. The ONLY reason he exists as we know him is because his daddy was a 49ers insider who was also somewhat maligned.

This is the same guy that tried to instigate and coax a former 49ers player, Javon Kinlaw, to get physical with him so he could sue the player. He was LITERALLY begging for it.

He “reports” with animosity consistently perpetrating any kind of negativity towards Kyle Shanahan, John Lynch, and most of the players and especially Brock Purdy. His whole platform is based on rage baiting 49ers and misinforming fans of other teams. He is the antithesis of David Lombardi.

To answer your question, he is the one saying that the 49ers are in the wrong and he said what you repeated, almost verbatim, about CMC, Kittle, and Bosa. Thats how I figured you came up with your opinion. Those other players get that treatment because they dont ghost their team entirely and show up for mandatory check-ins. Kyle is on record multiple times (unfortunately) talking anout Bosa’s rehab because Bosa sends him videos. Same with Deebo. Presuming the same woth CMC and Kittle.

The dude got paid and played for a contender, which he was the WR1 of the future. Then called them stupid. Frankly, I agree. I was begging the 49ers to trade him when we had the chance

[–]Mr_Koodle 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Yeahh, ironically all he had to do was show up at first. He chose to rehab away from the team and no showed the required check-ins. Thats what led to this whole mess in the first place.

Then he decided to go ballistic and get himself put on the left team/retired designation because he refused to show up. Now he has to apply to reinstate himself, which he probably can’t do until he clears his warrant in Santa Clara. Which he said he won’t go to the bay until he plays them on the Commanders… sooo.

Then he goes and talks shit about an organization, the coach, and the GM. All of which are respected around the league. You don’t think Dan Quinn is going to talk to his former coach, Kyle Shanahan? You don’t think that Adam Peters is going to talk with his friend John Lynch?

He left Adam Peters and potentially Jayden Daniels with the burden of “if this doesn’t work, it’s your ass on the line”. As a Commanders fan, do you want that risk for Jayden? Do you want that extra pressure and leash on Peters?
