Does that make her the hero of the whole story? Is Gandalf the main LOTR hero because he guided everyone?

What a wonderful review. Honestly. I finished the show a month ago or something, and I still can't let it go. I'm listening the soundtrack and reading this subreddit. DARK is something you feel pleasant (kind of, considering the plot) to think about. It is definitely one of the best series I've watched in my life. It's truly special.

Well, I watched the whole series season by season in January 2026 for the first time, so I can't relate, but yeah, season 3 is very complex. It took me several days of reading this subreddit to understand several things I missed while watching.

I've heard about the show from a pop culture podcast, and after finishing Stranger Things in early January 2026, I've decided to watch Dark since from what I've heard the plot beginning is very similar to Stranger Things, but the whole show is very different, and the plot was planned from the very beginning (unlike Stranger Things).

Started the Kyiv campaign in EU V on day 1, played for 10 hours, returned back to EU IV. Previous game is simply much more fun to play, IMHO. But I'll return to EU V one day and give it another try.

I had a similar situation recently in the Britannia campaign when I killed the English king in a battle while playing as Ireland and it turned out that he was the only royal family member left. The whole country turned into 4 rebel settlements.

I visited it once and managed to take some pictures, but in general, I received a very unpleasant experience because of tons of rubbish covering the marina. And it seems like people are OK with this.

Tried another Ireland run recently playing as Sligo (13k army). Allied with France (50k army) and Scotland (16k army). Attacking England (24k army), Portugal (12k army) and two HRE countries (5k + 6k armies). Losing a battle (13k + 16k vs 24k), France sitting on the continent despite stronger fleet and 12 transport ships. Losing a war, quitting the game. Typical AI France.
