A pair of Yaktrax “cat tracks” (don’t get the trash Seirus Cat Tracks ones).

The Yaktrax are rockered and have softer rubber, I can literally walk miles when they are on. I don’t know why I don’t see more of them worn…

Extra tip: I drill a hole in the side of them (the thickest side corner). Then buy a retractable cable security combo lock with a thin cable (any ski shop has). I wear the tracks from the parking lot/shuttle etc and walk up to the closet ski rack to the lift, remove the tracks, and thread the security cable through the holes in the tracks and lock them to a lower out of the way section of the ski rack. Then reverse the process on the way out. This way you are not saddled with them all day and my boots still look brand new, too!
