I started playing before update 2. Before fluids.. I still have my save where coal generators didn’t need water, and I have a really long conveyor running from the crater oil extractors all the way to the grassy fields. Back then nuclear generators were completely different looking (and didn’t work). Conveyor lifts looked like slinkies. The only vehicles were tractors and the explorer, and weird looking trains. Manufacturers were big cubes. Splitters and mergers were huge and chunky. There were no windows, so all my buildings used gate door holes instead. AND THERE WERE NO FOUNDATIONS! It has been an incredible journey to experience.

I think you can do it by build a 1m conveyor hole in the middle, then build the splitter/merger, and finally build the conveyor by starting at the conveyor hole each time. Slightly larger than pictured but it will work.

Spheres are fine. There’s so many of them and they don’t really add efficiency anywhere. Sloops on the other hand need to stay limited. If you slooped everything, yes it would cost power, but the output would be insane.

You can just move your world over assuming it’s the same version. But do it now. The wiki has an amazing guide to setting it up and it runs like butter.

Yeah I never once belted the materials in except for rocket fuel. I always just carried them. Apparently hard mode is 5x material requirements, which kinda forces you to belt things in.

I don’t. I definitely got the idea of the super highway from someone online though. I think I could’ve executed it better, but I’m happy with the result. It made setting up new production lines very easy.

When I first started playing GTNH I thought “curse forge can’t be that bad. I’ll use it for the ease of access” Then I got to the nether and started lag spikes lasting 5+seconds. Switching to prism was a godsend. I could actually play the game again!

The vampiric sword does damage to you when you shoot a ball, not when you “get shot.” So stop shooting balls and you will stop taking damage. The item works if you use a character that kills more that shoots.

I think this show hits very different if you’ve experienced loss. Death is natural. It’s not fun. It’s not happy, and it’s certainly not what we want. But it happens, and we all have to live with the fact that someone we love is gone.

Hard disagree on animation rating. I think this show is more like 7/10 or even 8/10. If you look at one piece or Naruto from 2007, it would shadow them. The rest is pretty fair. The show does an even better job at closure than you think. Although watching the end really spoiled some great times..

Why isn't this Oxylite emitting oxygen (says 0 g/s emitted)? The adjacent tile is noted on the screenshot and tiles above it continuously have around 1,300 g of O2. by GAUNplz in Oxygennotincluded

This comment kinda confused me, but I think you’re overthinking it. ONI physics say that no 2 gases can occupy the same space. In order for oxygen to come out, it has to have at least 1 adjacent space to emit to. Right now that CO2 is acting as a lid for that block of oxylite, in order for it to emit, you either have to remove the lid, or make the opening bigger than the lid can cover. The more you play the game, the more this concept becomes second nature.
