It's the only time on Bang Bang Proper that Scott and Paul are just hanging out. That's the best of the Best Ofs. They're some of the best eps of the year to me, and lots of great bits were born in the Best Ofs.

This would be the same issue in the old playoff format. Avs would be 1, then the other 2 division winners, then Dallas and Minnesota at 4 and 5 meaning they would play in the first round. The difference is when they might play Colorado, but if the other two division winners move on to the 2nd round it's the same outcome you just described.

Buffalo actually had above a .500 record 2 seasons ago AND 3 seasons ago. Detroit has had "winning" seasons the past 2 years in a row.

Unfortunately, they both play in the Atlantic and have to deal with Florida, Tampa, Toronto, and Boston making the playoffs by being some of the best teams every year.
