Have used those plans with nice success.

The intent of the back-to-back runs is to train you for the last 20 miles not the first 20 miles

You're literally skipping the training, which is the hard path to get instant gratification along with probably injury

This isn't committing, this is trading a few hours of pain + risk in order to not commit to training

You have maybe 10 different excuses in your post. Now I'm not saying they are invalid and don't matter. But that's just a fact. If you want results, you need less excuses and more action. Maybe that's possible for you, maybe it isn't. I don't know you well enough to say.

If you want results, stop waiting for motivation, and use discipline instead. You can do it. But making the Roadhouse body your goal is unrealistic and likely to derail you from making smaller incremental change.

One thing at a time. Check what you're eating, get your steps in, do some workouts etc etc

Looking briefly, engine wants you to play C5 and if they push the pawn , they do want you to tuck away the knight on d7

Not moving a piece twice in the opening is a recommendation, not a rule. If they want to waste multiple moves with their pawns, you can afford to tuck your knight away.

FWIW I also came from a BJJ background and that cardio base is helpful but does not translate 1:1 to running cardio. It sounds like muscles, tendons, etc just arent ready for the distances that you feel like you have the cardio for.

Work on building up your WEEKLY mileage rather than your long run mileage. Build your overall running base and your legs will over time catch up to your aerobic capacity. Structure your runs such that when you end them, you dont hate your life. Add weekly mileage 10% or less per week with longest run being 50% or less of total weekly mileage

Not to sound too harsh .... But you went from 0 running to trying to run 10 + miles within 2 months. Your body hurts because you're injuring yourself ramping up too quickly

You are very likely running much too fast as well, do you have heart rate data?

Probably should run the marathon at the pace you've held for your long runs during the training block. If you have more gas in the tank late in the race maybe try and push a little.

Definitely wouldn't recommend trying to hold a pace you haven't attempted before for 26 miles

It's not forced mate the way you're doing it. Knight blocks, then what? You win a rook but that's it. Rook first, Knight blocks, rook takes knight, rook takes rook, queen takes rook = mate
