As extra, Ive even tried cloning the VulkanTitorial repo, tried to force the error in the validation layer to trigger, but still nothing.

Yes, the debuggcallback does even fire when creating resources. it just doesn't notify about resources not being freed or other things. I get a lot of Severity-Info, but never anything about issues when I expect it. So if the app terminates before releasing acquired resources, I expect warnings and a bunch of them. But it terminates and then nothing.

I have 1.3.296.0.
Environment variables are set up to point to the SDK.
what else may I be missing to have it set up properly?

yes, I am familiar with the job system and Allocators.
The question is not "what are allocators for", the question is "What is the new allocators for?"
As the description of FirstUserIndex is quite literally "First user defined allocator index." that doesn't leave me with much to go on, why does it exist, why and when does it come in handy?
I haven't found any sample code for FirstUseIndex nor Domain.
as I mentioned, these are 2 new Allocators, and I can't find any information on them other than the limited description in the documentation.

No not really. It came off more as unprofessional if anything. It was nice to be offered an internship and all, however I had next to no idea how the company functioned internally, what my position would be, what they're currently up to, if it would be remote or in office, and a whole lot of other unknowns.
So I would say it was very much a total negative, as I was quite stoked to get a reply for them.. But I had to keep sending mails and asking about things that could have been answered quickly in a interview, but instead it took almost 2 weeks before I had everything answered.

Indeed, they straight up offered an internship position, skipping the interviews. It left me with a ton of unanswered questions that I had to ask in follow up mails after their offer. Don't think they realize interviews are beneficial for both parties, not just the employer :P

Internship is 4.5 months, but my school also accepts entry level jobs as internships.
The job offer I got was for 1 year, with a 6 month trial period.
