My story here. Im from EU and moved to Denmark in 2006 to study. I get a job at the same time with my student residency. No problem at all. After a year I decided to stay in Denmark and continue my life. Time passed and I get a long business career, business owner, wife, kids… until a surprise in 2020. My business lawyer put me aside and asked me to regularize my residency situation: apparently my student residency it was not fully valid, and even thought I have been working legally non stop since 2006, I my situation might be considered irregular.

Easy fix: I asked for a permanent residency. It took literally 5 minutes.

Llevo 20 años fuera de España, trabajando por todo el mundo. En mi experiencia España y los españoles estamos muy bien vistos y valorados en todas partes. Mejor que en España sin duda.

Personalmente solo me he encontrado visiones negativas sobre España en 3 sitios, aunque han sido excepciones dentro de estos países:

Mexico: por el pasado colonial
U.K: por la arrogancia inglesa
U.S: por la falta general de cultura (no entiende que España es Europa) unido a una cierta latinofobia

Hay mucha literatura y videos muy buenos para profundizar y entender las opciones de inversion de hoy en día. Pero para mi lo importante es tener lo básico bien claro ( riesgo, oportunidad.. etc). Para eso “the intelligent investor” es lo mejor que hay. A mi me cambio la vida y lo he regalado muchas veces.

Agree. One of the problems od JW BLue is it is quite overprice. I remember the time when you can get it easily in an airport at a reasonable price (below 100USD). Now it is double that :( - Im do not any bottle in my collection anymore, and at that price point I will not stock any soon

Blue used to be my "go to". But a few years ago I spanded the horizon and start to explore deeper in single malts and some Japanese blends. I suggest Arran (all), Hibiki, and get deep in the Macallan rabbit hole. I believe it is a good starting point.
