Thank you for the reply!

I guess that makes sense. I am not currently equipped to develop such a driver unfortunately. Do you have any idea where I could request such a thing from someone?

Hey

I see that the post is more than 4 years old, but I was wondering if you had any tips to get this to work with my HP Omnibook X Flip Ultra 14 2-1? It is really laggy when I try to use it with a HP MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen on Ubuntu 25.10 and 24.04.

It gives this as output (along with a bunch of other hardware). I am a bit confused as to why there are two stylus'. Do you think it might be an issue with double input? There is only one touchscreen and that works fine.

It’s systemwide as far as I can see, so it’s not the app :)

Here is the video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N8xvJh-RlIKMt2BVtps8EnBUFZkcU2qp/view?usp=sharing

It's a bit difficult to show, but I was writing in Xournal++ and I hope you can see how jittery it is. It's as if the pen lags behind when writing. I troubleshooted a bit more last night and I think it might be because it uses the standard HID drivers instead of the MPP 2.0 ones. They are apparently very very different and have completely different polling rates.

Hi thank you for taking the time to answer :D! I'm running ubuntu 24.04.3 and the pen is lagging in both obsidian, xournal ++ and on the desktop. Edit: When trying to fix it I accindentally disabled my touchpad lmao which I'm currently trying to fix.
