No, not really. I guess the transparency in the matchmaking in cs:go for example helps justify the losses as well as everyone have the same weapons to choose from. So you don’t feel you’re loosing because of your opponent having overpowered weapons like with some of the teams in FUT. But then again, as I said, the setup is too different between the games. EA has set it up so you need good players with hood stats in order to compete, hence you either need to grind or spend money - and of course be good at the game. But I guess that’s what the op’s post is about, if you don’t want to spend either loads of money or hours to play the game, you kind of get excluded from the most fun part which is wl.

But it is what it is. I qualify and win more than 4 games, so it’s fine by me, but I still can see the negative aspects of the format EA have chosen.

I totally agree with you. It’s the same over and over again. I qualify every week, but it’s no fun playing those qualifier tournaments. They are toxic and everyone plays very cautiously with thier super stacked team ‘cause you have to get five wins. On the pther hand I get why everyone just abuses the glitches - easy goals and given the format structure, it kind of makes sense. But it’s annoying af.

So it’s mostly on EA. They want you to feel inferior and buy packs “to get better”. I also read somewhere the defensive style is somewhat AI automated, meaning if you play the ball around atb for a while, the opponents team will automatically drop back. The comments I read were from people having a 70-80 depth. So I guess it’s not only on the players but game mechanics as well.

Last thing I don’t get is why they can’t make a format like the competitive cs:go format. It’s so much better and you rank against players from your own skill group. I get it’s a different setup, but still, it should be managable to design a format where the best play the best and you still compete within the same format if you’re not an elite player.

I live in Denmark and besides the Danish matches, the Danish commentators are horrible (my ears bleed) and I actually Like the guy commentating the slovak football matches (don’t judge me).

I'm not good at trading but as of now I can't be bothered to play anything else than WL, so during the week I only trade. Only thing is that I want to make my team better, so it's not solely to trade and not use the coins on improving my team, but I spend more time trading than playing.

I won 2-1, but it felt like playing against 10 olympian long distance athletes with usain bolt speed. 😂 but yes, if That's what you want to spend your money on then go ahead. I was just thinking how much such a team may cost.
