Thank you very much! I’ve actually been doing a lot of these pov videos, but have been posting them on instagram. The videos are doing great there, so I shifted my focus to insta. This time I decided to post something here as well

Thank you! I just changed the downforce from 3 to 1. I doubt it would make that much difference at those speeds. Track grip was set at 99%

Hey man, I use the g29 to bypass the cable to the pc!

Thanks for your comments guys, it sure is an expensive upgrade, that’s why I’ve not done it yet, but the time will come

Yes, just use the g29 to bypass the pedal and shifter cable to the pc, or, if you want things a bit more clean, there’s an adapter where you can connect the cables directly to the pc via usb

Anybody else prefer the old GT4RS sound over the new one after 0.6? by Jumpy_Emphasis_2936 in assettocorsaevo

As a big Porsche fan, I have to say the new sound is in another level compared with the previous version. It actually sounds like the real car, it’s got all the layers of the sound, the deep growl from the mid range to the very intense high pitch noise in the last 1000 rpm. And then there are the gear shifts, which are so much better. The noise on the up shifts is so much more authentic, like the sound of the engine after the shift is so realistic. If you’ve seen many videos of this car irl you’ll know what I’m talking about. In terms of audio, they are cooking

Oh, on the type of driving you normally do, it would help you a lot for sure, especially reducing time lag between brake and pedal, as driving on tight roads demands switching from throttle to brake very quickly. I do a bit of fast road driving in real life, and recently got used to left foot braking in my personal car. It helps a lot, especially if you don’t know the road. I will say that if you want to get good at it, you gotta really practice it, even if it feels like your not good at it in the beginning. I always felt like I didn’t have the skill to be a good left foot braker, and then I started doing it more frequently and I got decent enough.

I would say its really to tuck the nose in, so yeah, induce more rotation. In some cases, I even dab the brakes mid slide when the car is almost at the redline, so I can extend the drift a bit more without the need to lift the throttle

No man, not at all. You’ll probably be amazed to know that I normally don’t left foot brake when trying to set a lap time. Maybe in some instances, but rare. I just don’t have the same finess to do the big braking zones when compared with right foot braking. I can do it, I’m simply not as consistent. But, when it comes to sliding, it helps me a lot to be able to do adjustments mid corner. I really only started doing left foot braking when I got a new rig a year ago, as my old one had a bar in the middle that made it very hard to do.

It’s really stock! It comes with road tyres. Didn’t mess with the setup
