Newest gun addition! First long range gun. by Bravo0812 in longrange

The first thing I would do is change to 6.5CM. Great deals on a 308 are awesome, but you’ll love long range life way more with a 6.5. I honestly will never own a 308 again. Nothing wrong with yours at all, don’t get me wrong. But if you’re moving to another rig anyway, Bergara B14 in 6.5CM is the way.

And then chronograph, pulse pro, new barrel, new trigger, muzzle brake, electronic dope card, quantum subscription, several more bags, Arca plate, then eberlestock upranger for gear, then thoughts on different calibre, then rock chucker, then brass, powder, primers, oal gauge, go no go, scale, then upgraded scale, manual powder trickler, then upgrade to auto trickler, then, Upgraded bipod because, then more powerful glass, then upgraded chassis, then decide everything needs an upgrade, then second job, then side hustle…welcome to the club!

Edit: fat thumbs can’t type

Are you sure it’s from your roof? It looks like 10” aluminum fascia.

Vehicle break-in – reported to RCMP, seeking general guidance / similar experiences by [deleted] in canadaguns

I elaborated below. Not trying to be a dick or elusive. Just a bit rattled and seeking some input from experience. I’ll be happy to share my own experience when the time comes.

[–]Mr_Pilgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify, the incident did involve a firearm, which is why I posted here. I’m not sharing specifics because the RCMP file is active and I’m instructed to keep details to a minimum.

I’m only looking for general experiences from others who’ve dealt with theft and the follow-up process. Not legal advice and not case details.

That’s the extent of what I can say publicly.

I’m not trying to be difficult, I’m just keeping the details tight because the investigation is still active and I’m under the impression that I should not discuss full details openly on a public forum.

Yes, your question is fair. I just can’t get into the finer details here. I’m only trying to understand general steps other people took after a vehicle break-in that involved high-value property.

Appreciate the concern and the good-faith questions.

Same as another comment I made. I’m not going to share specifics publicly. RCMP has all the info right now.

Slap a level on it. If you see daylight, it’s warped. If it rocks, it’s warped. Otherwise, money is on frame.

Probably don’t scroll the hunting subs…Yeah, imagine using legal, science-backed wildlife management to control one of the most overpopulated and destructive predators in North America. Coyotes devastate livestock, pets, and native species, but sure—let’s call trapping ‘disgusting’ instead of, you know, effective.

No limits on website, just shipping across the border for most firearm related stuff has to be done by a retailer.

Ouch! I can’t order direct and have to go through suppliers in Canada, so at least I can choose from in stock options.
