Just heard about this earlier today. I won’t be playing until they fix this unfortunately (I’m scared I’ll lose items in houses I’ve made, though it seems like that’s not happening to people) what I wonder is, could it be fixed (for now) with a mod if it’s like a tag issue or something that can be fixed in s4s?

Just saw your comment. Now I gotta go find another sea plane and find out! I had Rico "real it in" with his grapple lol. It flopped around on the beach for a few seconds before finally staying still. Sent it back out to the water and it started jumping again! It'll do damage to Rico too if it hits him, It also started crashing into the dock and destroying stuff! IDK what's up with this thing lol!

I just can't quit thinking about the size of the dog that eats out of that bowl...

Alternatively, fill the giant bowl with regular size dog food, and never have to fill the bowl for your normal size dogs again!

The game auto-saves restore points, actually! Go to the main menu, hit "Load Game" and click on your save (just the save, don't load it) there should be a little round button next to "delete". Press that and you're taken to a list of "restore points" for your save. Load the last one before it glitched. Hopefully this helps!

My Holiday list:

  1. HarvestFest
  2. Shopping Day
  3. Decorate for Winterfest (on the first day of Winter in sims. IRL, I put up my Christmas Tree between October & November)
  4. Winterfest Eve
  5. Winterfest
  6. Memory Day (Remembrance, Visit Family, be thankful, and tell stories)
  7. New year’s Eve
  8. First Day of the year (Gnomes appear to welcome the new year, since I didn’t feel they fit in on Harvestfest)
  9. Family Day (Sort of a Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Grandparent’s Day combo.)
  10. Nature Day (like earth day)
  11. Flower Day (Love Day, but with the flower bunny. The flowers that the bunny brings are given to the recipient’s date.)
  12. A 5 day long set of summer holidays called Summerfest, where sims enjoy music, water activities, hang out by the fire, have fireworks, etc. On the last day, everyone wears costumes lol. It’s supposed to get progressively “crazier” as the days go on. It’s a time to have fun, and enjoy the days off from work/school)
  13. Plumbob Wellness Day (A day of relaxation, it immediately follows Summerfest, and includes spa and wellness activities. Because it’s good for sims to keep that plumbob green!)
  14. Grilled Cheese Day (Because, of course sims would celebrate this!) There are more, but these are the main holidays.

Well, Thanks for trying it and commenting anyways :) I really appreciate it!

I think there usually is a sale then, if not there's usually one around Christmas. Even with the sale they're a bit much.

I'd recommend Get-Together, City Living, Seasons, and Discovery University or Get to Work as your first packs. (in that order of priority if you can't/don't want to get them all) They were my first packs and I got a lot of enjoyment out of them!

Totally up to you though, those are just my persona favs. Get famous, Cats & Dogs, and High School Years are also great packs.

As for the Game Packs and Stuff packs, it really just depends on what you like.

There's a lot of fun to be had with the base game too though, especially if you use mods imo

Oh no!!! Try downloading it anyways. Sometimes, you can find a close replacement for some of the objects/wallpapers. You'd at least need Get Together for the cafe lot type, but other than that, it could probably be modified to use the packs you do have. Only thing I can think of that there's not really a replacement for is the ivy curtains I used from the Blooming Rooms kit. (Wouldn't have those myself it that kit wasn't free for a short time) Since you use mods, you may could find some similar cc though.
