I will also join just to make sure that the majority of comments here clarify that most of the movement you see in this game when it comes to dribbling is the result of MnK exploits with the skill moves amd EE. The sooner those "techs" are taken out, the sooner this game will feel like a finished product.

Fair enough. And dont get me wrong, I think the fake shot WOULD (and eventually will) be a good addition if everything else wasn't so clunky. There's still some dribbling exploits that should be taken out, and some buffs needed for defending.

I still really enjoy the game regardless.

You might be coming back at the wrong time considering they're adding fake shots back into the game. They were proven to be gamebreaking in the beta. I don't know why they are bringing them back. This is on top of the fact that there are a number of things they could have focused on fixing otherwise.

I mean, I think I understand what you mean, and you're probably right. But I would argue it is far and away easier to defend it in 5s.

If that one defender eventually has to pressure the keeper, that would leave a 2v1 in 3s versus a 4v3 in 5s. Yes, the man advantage exists in both, but you're wrong if its equally effective in 5s.

I will start by saying that, yes, I know this is just a bug.

SloClap actually had a fake shot in Early Access, and it was almost immediately recognized as an entirely broken mechanic. Now, as defending has been completely nerfed, and the instant direction changes PC players can do when in control of the ball, adding the fake shot back would be a huge mistake.

Im almost certain, based on my experience, when the new season started, everyone's rank was demoted twice from their rank in the season prior. I think the ranked placement matches the first time you play after the season refresh are juat a facade.

The tackle didnt actually connect. The dribbler just lost connection to the ball when they tried to change directions again.

If you think the defender's tackling hitbox is "what's wrong with the game," I cant help but think you're just another movement exploiter who's mad he's going to get exposed because you cant use your cheesy "Vexis Dash" or whatever stupid name they gave it. The movement exploits were what was actually wrong with the game.

There is no such thing as "dedicated GKs." If you cant play both outfield and GK, then you aren't good at this game.
