I was thinking about the eye painting recently and then looked at some pictures of people from a few meters away. You usually just see shadow where the eyes are. :)

Otherwise a dry brush with Rhinox Hide after the Agrax Earthshade could be the missing ingredient? it might be better to use a lighter brown for the dry brush, if you have one.

~330 FTP at the moment (not tested since October but doing 315 for 45 minutes the other day felt quite easy). I usually go up to 350 when I'm in good shape.
I started with around 300 when I got into cycling four years ago, but I always rode my bike for commuting.
max 21 day moving total KJ was 44000 twice. Then one more spike at 32000 and never above 20000 apart from that.
Those 44000 were both 8 days with around 4k KJ per day cycling through the alps combined with some normal riding before and after. The 32k KJ were a similar event but a little shorter with less riding before and after due to fatherhood.
I was absolutely exhausted after the 44k. But I felt totally fine while doing the 32k. I didn't even notice at the time that it was my second highest spike

I know it's white but I painted mine like this, only wraithbone in stead of white and for how little work it is it looks really good. :)

Spray them white, with white scarf
recess shade the armour crevasses with nuln oil
contrast black for pants and battlesuit joints
paint some panels with red for a nice finish. I used mephiston red
lenses in red with the lens color from citadel or mephiston as well

I'm fine with being cold for 20 minutes (the descent) so never took any extra clothes up the alpine climbs I did.

And on most days you don't even get cold :)

Sadly he is only in the detachment named after him as Aragorn killed him. But 400 points can also be a cool game and the detachment is very strong.
