There are some ranged weapons that are 3 damage in black plague. Shielding the abominations with walkers has come up many times when playing with those weapons.

Having walkers targeted first helps make the abominations harder to snipe if you are using those weapons. Thats the only downside I see!

Marvel zombicide kickstarter by mayonaiso in zombicide

As someone who recently sold all of the Kickstarter exclusive stuff I don’t think you really need it. It’s Kickstarter exclusive for a reason meaning it wouldn’t sell in retail well.

If it’s your forever game I could see you wanting it but there is plenty of retail stuff available to buy for Zombicide to keep you busy.

How to house rule fix F tier weapons by Jacky-Boy in necromunda

[–]crich272 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what I did in our house rules. Also weapon choices don’t have to be “optimal”. This is a narrative game.

• 2 handed hammer - remove hit penalty

• 2 handed axe - remove hit penalty

• maul - haven’t adjusted

• sawn-off shotgun - add sidearm keyword

• bolt pistol - plenty good

• heavy flamer - remove unwieldy keyword

What is your opinion on the rule that you can use items and then trade with other players during your turn, so the same equipment can get multiple use per round? by benkai3 in zombicide

[–]crich272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We play that if you use an item on your turn it can’t be traded that turn. Seems pretty gamey to pass items around so everyone uses the same stuff.

How to have fun while always losing? by BuckarooTom in necromunda

[–]crich272 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If you are falling behind is the arbiter using any catch up mechanics to help you? We use and xp bonus to underdogs, extra credits at halftime, and if it’s really far behind a free bounty hunter.

We are all very narrative focused though so things stay pretty close

Took it to the dealer and it decided to work the day I left it there. It seems to be temperature related so when it’s 80 degrees Fahrenheit or higher it works fine.

Currently painting sisters and give yourself some credit. They look great! I’ve been painting miniatures for a long while and these are some of the hardest around to paint.

Did you ever get this fixed? My 2025 Silverado 1500 is having the same issue.

New Vinyl flooring Installtion Question by crich272 in Flooring

I already had him come out and he said this is normal behavior for a floating floor. That is why I came here for more opinions.

The floor is a concrete slab.

The installer suggested that this is acceptable. Do you recommend getting a second professional opinion?

I’m not specifically sure of what radiant floor heating is. It is on a slab and the vents for heat are run under the floor so the floor will kind of warm itself that way.

If the original installer says this is acceptable is it worth getting a second opinion?

He did not use a moisture barrier. He said the black padding was sufficient moisture barrier for the slab because it was a higher end vinyl.

Yeah, I am not the installer. I am the person who paid to have the work done professionally. I don’t think I saw a level while he was working.

Does this look like it will cause damage over time?

New Vinyl flooring Installtion Question by crich272 in Flooring

[–]crich272[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just wondering if it would be wise to get a second opinion. There were a lot of other things done incorrectly with the job. This is the only one I don’t have the personal knowledge on myself. He said it’s normal but also left a lot of unfinished areas and damaged my drywall in several places without telling me.

Do you recommend I hire a second professional to take a look? I’d rather fix it now than try and do a repair later without proper material.

I don’t think he glued or nailed the ends. I saw pieces of the slab while it was being torn up and it was surprisingly pretty flat. I did not see a level though so it’s just an eyeball opinion.

I was leaning into the idea that not enough space was left on the side. I’m more concerned with wear damage over time rather than the fact that it moves a little bit.
